I know that I will never see or go places anymore,I am 71 years young. Your videos are so wonderful, keep it up, love them. May God bless you and keep you safe on the highway.
Thank you.
Great job Robert! I have been RV camping the eastern Sierras since I was a boy in the 1950's. We were just up there in October for the maiden voyage of our new RV. You could spend a month between Lone Pine and Lee Vining and not even come close to seeing all the magical places the Sierras have to offer!
Great video Robert! It was like a trip down memory lane for me. I was born in Lone Pine but we moved to Barstow when I was very young. I have many fond memories of visiting my grandparents in Lone Pine and visiting the Mt. Whitney Portal. In my twenties, I made it to the top of Mt. Whitney twice--once on a 3-day hike (Trail Camp day one, summit and return to Trail Camp day two, descend day three) and once on a day hike. I enjoyed the day hike more because I didn't need to carry as much gear or endure a 25 degree night in a tent. My job took me to Dallas, TX and I have not been back to Lone Pine in well over twenty years. Your video has made me homesick. Keep up the great work, Robert!
@Lloyd Bonafide,
Although possibly overgeneralized, I agree with your overall assessment of Barstow. I met some good people there as well as plenty of not so good ones. I'm pretty sure it all boiled down to a lack of employment opportunities and a desire for independence that motivated my parents to move.
Thanks Robert! That hatchling scared the s*** out of me too! 😲
Mt Whitney Park was beautiful. Such nice big green pines with towering mountains all around. Very nice hike. The Alabama Hills area has such different rock structure and yet so near the other range of mountains. I had no idea the Manzanar was so large. Like you said it was like a city. Everything was so spread out. All I know is that the poor people had created so nice art work while there. Sad times. Yet we still have not learned our lessons.
Thanks Robert. That was wonderful!
Whitney Portal is beautiful. As a kid we would camp there every summer. I think that was my first camping trip at 6 months old. My parents have a photo of me sticking me head out of the tent and eating dirt lol. Good memories.
Your the best Robert, I'm addicted to your videos.
I can see John Wayne riding his horse in all those mountain ranges! Such Beautiful places to see!!!!!
Gooooood morning Robert! Thank you for the new video. There was quite a bit of beautiful scenery and some "interesting" roads. Have a great day my friend, and remember that we keep you and your family in our prayers. Fly pelican, fly! 😎🌴👍
I’m grateful for all the beautiful things and places you show us .
You could never be a chicken:)
"Hit the road Jack". Like it. Thanks for going where we can't. You actually do what so many of us will never see with our own eyes. As many others have said so well - many thanks for doing what you do as no other and with great music.
Wow, what an amazing video, all of it. I've spent so much time everywhere along 395 and in the Sierras, but moved away 14 years ago, so this video is like taking my own vacation back there. You do beautiful filming and editing - I love the camera mounted on the RV. Thank you so much for the Manzanar tour, I am blown away by what they have created there. I first saw it in the mid-70s, and the only things there were the "historic" (only) entrance and the cemetery. The roads were still there, and there was a reservoir where we went swimming. You can see it on Google maps, northwest of the cemetery, dry now. Two different close friends of mine's parents/grandparents/extended family members were interned in various camps, all were U.S. citizens, most born here. I worked closely with one who played a major role in the redress movement that eventually led to an apology from the U.S. government and the $20,000 payments. I had no idea that it had become a national historic site - I'm so glad, and very happy you took the time to share it with us. Subscribed and looking forward to this continuing vacation. 😊
Excellent video. Great job but dangerous on some trails.Beautiful Sierra Nevada and spectacular Mt. Whitney. Take care, keep up Love. MOM...>>>
Absolutely majestic footage!! Finally was able to catch this episode after all the crazy here at work overseas.
very beautiful rugged landscape. thanks for taking us along Robert!
Another great video, I wish I could see a tenth of all the fantastic places you've visited. Keep on truckin.
The 395 drive is a lot of people's favorite here in CA.
Those mountains were totally AMAZING. You did such a great job at showing them off. ❤
What an amazing landscape! Just as I was trying to find something nice to watch while having dinner accompanied by an IPA before the start of the week. Mr. Robert doesn't disappoint!
I hope all is well. Best wishes all the way from Portugal!
The Mr. Whitney area is beautiful! Loved the rocky terrain and amazing views! Scared us to death when you walked up on hat bird. Lol
Thanks for showing us around. I took my four kids on a cross-country trip; Manzanar was one of our memorable stops.
Thank you for the tour of Manzanar. As sad as it is, people need to know that part of our history.
It wasn't only the Japanese who were sent there. Chinese and Koreans or just about anyone who looked oriental.
Your commentary is so good and entertaining. Soothing accent and voice too. Beautiful places you allowed us to tag along and visit with you!
The Mt. Whitney Family CG was so very beautiful. The Alabama Hills are still on our bucket list :-)
Stunning views! Thanks, Robert.
I'm so glad you like to go hiking! Love that you include it and drone footage. Such a beautiful place, maybe I can go there someday ...but not today. ☺
Hi Robert ! Very good documentary, breathtaking landscapes! Thank you so much! 👍
Well Robert, I have to say that this is the most scenic, beautiful video, I have seen from you. Absolutely great,,,,,,,,,,,,and watch out for wild ducks....... As always, have fun and be safe.
Great to see you travelling up the 395. We are from the UK and always watch your videos. We also travelled up the 395 to Lake Tahoe about 10 days after you did in late July, early August 2019. Can't wait to see the rest of your journey. Keep them coming. Thanks
Steve.
Thanks Robert for the awsome video !! Your channel is my soul medicine !!
Great video again Robert, WOW...I visited my wife in Riverside California last summer when her job sent her there for 3 weeks...some of your clips brought back memories of when I stayed in Riverside for 3 days....very beautiful scenery in southern California from Pasadena on down southward.
Why ooo why do we have to wait all week for next episode. It's so good and enjoyable that I wish new episodes Com daily! U R best Robert. Thank you again for your work.
Another great video. I traveled 395 from Barstow to Pendleton, Or one time a few years ago It is not a fast route but beautiful and a relaxing change from HWY 97. Thank you.
Stunning drone footage. That area is beautiful. Thanks for another great video.
Manzanar was quite interesting for me because I have been to the interment camp at Topaz, Utah. Thank you Mr Robert.
Robert thank you so much for including the internment camp in this video. It is so important people be reminded of the errors of our past. It is the only way to prevent them occurring again. Another great video!!!
Awesome video Robert! The views were spectacular! I definitely need to drive up the 395 next time I drive up to Mt Whitney and other nearby places you went to. Your cameras did the justice, it was very beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing, see you onto the next adventure! 🤟🏻😊🤟🏻
#175 Good morning, Richard. Great scenery! Thanks for taking me along. You are careful, that's good!
Very cool Vlog dear Robert 👍🏼 thank u so very much for this beautiful pictures u give to us . God bless u , God bless America 🇺🇸❤️
Hey Robert, another great video. I-395 is one of my favorite scenic roads, not to mention it's the namesake of the delicious IPA 395 from Mammoth Brewery. Interesting re-visiting the Mt. Whitney trail with you...the last time I hiked that trail was on 9/11. It was quite a shock when we finished our hike and went down into Lone Pine for dinner.
Thank You Robert for that video visit of Manzanar Consentration Camp. My paternal grand parents from Hawaii spent time in Tule Lake (further north) & Jerome, Arkansas. I'll visit Manzanar soon.
Wonderful views. At 7:16, the eyes and mouth on the rock go by so fast. Must be the watcher of the desert.
I recently discovered Traveling Robert and his fabulous videos and music. Like him putting a sticker on each state he visits,
I am going to post this comment on all the videos I watch! You da man, Robert!!
thanks for showing me the Alabama hills, im from the s f bay area and never knewof it ! must visit soon. maybe in 2 years all be ready for mt whitney summit
IF you go to Yosemite and move on to Lake Tahoe later, you will enjoy the view when you leave the Eastern entrance of the park. It is breathtaking.
Beautiful video again.
Thank you for sharing these beautiful landscapes with us. I hope I'll make it to the US and especially California one day to see all of this myself.
The bird part just cracks me up. I had to re watch it a dozen times.
Was definitely thinking of the movie Tremors which was also film there. Especially when the bird scared you! 😂 Great video Robert!
Love how you have the Camera setup. The Music is perfect with the video also. I am from Florida too and now live on the road. I have fallen for the West! Great video!😀💗👍
All your videos are good , with this you have outdone yourself! Had no idea Mt. Whitney in California was so breathtaking and beautiful. I have to get out there myself and hike that trail . Love your work and Channel! 👍
I don't blame you walking across those wet rocks would've been a lot of work....the views of Mt. Whitney are amazing...I liked how you continued pointing out Mt. Whitney..during the trip... good job Robert!!
We were just there last week: Lone Pine, Bishop and the Alabama Hills. Beautiful, beautiful country! Looks like the end of this video you were hiking in Mammoth Lakes. Excellent narration in your videos, Robert 👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Good morning. I really look forward to coming home from church to a new video.
Loved it when the bird startled you. Lol! That area is spectacular. I'm realizing that noone has enough time to visit all of the fantastic places in the US. Videos like the ones you produce allow folks to pick and choose those most intriguing. Good job!
i guess Im randomly asking but does someone know a method to get back into an instagram account..?
I was dumb lost my login password. I love any tips you can give me!
@Wilder Misael instablaster :)
@Isaac Corey Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site through google and Im in the hacking process now.
Seems to take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Isaac Corey It worked and I now got access to my account again. Im so happy:D
Thanks so much you really help me out!
@Wilder Misael Glad I could help =)
I love Whitney portal and the Alabama hills with the arches. And you can frame mt Whitney in the arch. At sunset, the Alabama hills are magical. The film museum in lone pine gives you even more info about the Alabama hills and is a fantastic museum. The historical museum in independence is very interesting too. And manzanar is something everyone should see at least once.
Totally a bucket list destination, I will do Grand Canyon, Utah Valley of the Gods, and Mt. Whitney.
What a beautiful area. I used to live in Reno and would travel that hwy often.
Great video as always Robert! Thank you and happy New Year to you and your family 😊
Absolutely love this video such breathtaking views when you run that drone:-)
Anouther great video from Mr Robert ! Thanks for sharing.
Very nice video, Robert. Thanks for sharing.
We laughed so hard I think we cried... When the bird startled you. 😂 Then we became very somber at the end. I'm not familiar with Manzanar. Thank you so much for sharing. 😓
For me, The Alabama Hills, took the cake for the most beautiful place on this video.
Lloyd Bonafide site seeing isnt nothing
I found it very interesting. The different shapes of rock formations. Entertaining hike.
Wow! Mt. Witney is a Beautiful area.
Beautiful camping spot you found at Whitney Portal!
Love these California uploads!!
from WPB Fl. and have traveled this area twice. I can't wait to go back again! The Sierras and Bryce/zion are the most amazing areas I've seen. Walking those trails however is a little scary. You could run into a mountain lion or worse......a vegan!!
The Sierra Nevada's are stunning l can't believe how much snow is around in summer . Would love to visit more National parks in USA... The Mt Whitney camp grounds look amazing would be nice and cool in the heat. The Japanese camps were touching unfortunately war can bring the worst out of humanity. Hopefully nothing like this repeats. Makes you so grateful to never had to experience anything like this
Good morning Robert. Thanks for sharing this video. Great scenery as usual. Go easy on the eggs and bacon my friend. Lol. Happy new year!
you did set me straight Mt. Whitney is taller than Mt. Rainier . Safe travels to you
Killer duck robert lol I laughed for 30 minutes hahahah
best job all the time thanks Mr Robert
California has the most scenic land scapes vieuw's vibes ive ever seen and been. I totally understand why it;s soo expensive there, peace from europe
@Donald Allen Also freeloaders and deadweights.
beautiful landscapes
This is my kind of episode. loved it. Amazing mountains, movie reference (felt like being in Star trek movie) and history. (You should not hide a countrys dark history, instead show it so people can learn from it.)
Another fabulous video..You're the best.
@6:28 "Isn't that a wonderful site!" I do they same thing walking back to my 'rig'. :-)
Riding the RV that is what set you free.
Right on Road Nomad right on like a cacheton .
That was awsum Robert thank you so much
Another great adventure
My neck of the woods growing up. More so up north. I would envy a peek at Florida. But I'm not staying as the humidity kills me. I like my dry desert. ☺
Hey Robert thanks for another great video.also u have put the best background music.sometimes the music can be annoying but yours is very distracting music.good job u do.thanks for the holiday across USA,Melissa from Australia 🇦🇺
jajajajja you funny. Scared of a little bird....you made me laugh hard........that was good Rob.
Great channel! Very nice trip video! Very nture video! I saw a lot of wonderful nature! Very glad!
Interesting view of Mt. Whitney. I've only ever seen it from the perspective of Pacific Crest Trail and John Muir Trail hikers who vlog their hike. I didn't get to see it much this year because most of the hikers skipped the Sierra due to it being such a high snow year. Depending on when they got there dictated most people's plans. The late spring snows really made things difficult/dangerous in May.
Shortly after Minute 24:00, that had me rolling in my chair!!!
That scared the sh*t out of me to. Lmao. Great video Robert.
Great Job Robert!
Great video! Watching from the philippines ❤️
Can't wait to see you on top of Whitney! Manzanar is amazing and the movie they show...it made me cry. Did you see little pet cemetery on the side of the human cemetery?
Preciosas vistas.
My favorite area to visit from home in Southern California. I did the hike to the top of Mt. Whitney about 20 years ago and would love to do it again some day health willing. Thx for lots of great video footage.
I'm thinking in a year or two.
Traveling Robert I am sure you will do your research but be advised that area will require a permit that is issued earlier in the year via a lottery system. TheDyrt website had a good write up on the permit system earlier this year. Although some people are able to do the climb in one day, most take 2-3 days and our trip 20 years ago took 4 days total with time to acclimate to the extreme elevations.
@@TravelingRobert Don't wait too long..I tried it at 60 years old..got to the timberline..could not breath..on the way down my knee nearly collapsed..don't assume you will be able to do it next year..my regret not finishing the trip to top..thought I would come back in a year. Have not done it yet..and won't unless I get my knee fixed..One of my favorite places in the world ...thanks
@@clarktferrill Great advice! I did Half Dome at age 39. I am 42 now and wanting to do as much while I still can.
Howdy Robert, many thanks for sharing yet another splendid video here which bears all the hallmarks of the 'Robert Morales Production Company' surely..Dazzling,quite entertaining and very informative. You really made my day once again buddy. Best wishes and cordial greetings from William across the Big Pond.
Thank you!
I jumped and squealed same as you.haha What that says is your videos are encompassing. No need to cross the slime rocks like that. I agree. It's a wonder those people got across. Anyway great scenery!! You are a great travel guide. New job?
So many fine points in this video. One I hope to bring up in Fridays coming live show. One I'll mention now. My group was used to do many things politically and financially while denying the group restitutions. They even created the law called The Statute of Limitations because of my group. Used and abused for trillions in profits. $20,000 each in the 1990's for those still alive from the Japanese internment camps pfpfpfpf. For far less than what was done to my group 60 years out! One reason why I love to watch Roberts videos being almost a total shut-in.
Hold on to your dreams! Sometimes they are filled through others sharing. Thank You Robert and your family!
I hope you really go get the chance to climb Mt. Whitney in the near future. As a recommendation a CZcamsr named Kraig Adams has a channel where he recently hiked up to the peak last month. He has some great tips and insights into the hike. Highly recommend it.
greetings from Germany. love your videos
You have to get your feet wet to have an adventure. Other than that, another great video Robert.
33:30... indeed. That looks like heaven on Earth!
That is south lake near Bishop
