  • Four people have been killed after Russian shelling hit an area on the outskirts of the Ukranian city of Kharkiv. The shelling comes just a day after new moblization law came into effect which drops the age at which men can be drafted into the army from 27 to 25. More information with Eliza Herbert.

Ukraine war reminds me of the Iraq invasion by US under false justification. At least Russia has a point in not allowing more NATO (US) bases on its borders.
How could people ever thought that Russia would allow NATO (US) to keep building bases on its borders and do nothing?Or that Ukraine could win a war against Russia? Not even with NATO support. In a hypothetical situation, would US allow China or Russia to build bases on its borders? Remember Cuban missiles crisis?

Especially how the US approve their own Monroe Doctrine, but aren’t respecting any other spheres of power….

Oh! But you're not allowed to say that, because then it would mean that you're thinking and using common sense... And that's a big "no-no" in the West. See, if everyone did that, then lots of businesses and politicians would lose their profits.

I’ve made that point a few times. They’re just being trained in secrecy, for the final defense of Kiev.

There were no regular presidential elections in Ukraine this year. Zelensky's legal powers expire on May 20.
But Zelensky managed to block the work of the Constitutional Court. Now he becomes a full-fledged dictator.

Zelenskyy had the opportunity to reject West (US) offer (bribe?) to become part of NATO and choose instead to become a neutral country and that way get the best from west and east. The result of that bad decision we can see it today with hundreds of thousand deaths and a destroyed country plus the danger to the world of the conflict becoming nuclear. Neutrality the key word
