much Love please carry on
What do you mean by 'major class'? Are you referring to natural classes of sounds?
I've dealt with coalescence in another video already published.
I love your channel
so helpful !!!!
Thanks a lot
Can you write a phonological rule for metathesis?
Very useful. May God richly bless you. Very effective teacher...
I can never thank you enough 💕💕💕💕💕💕
to ask => to aks => to ax/to axe
is it æstərɪsk or æstəɹɪsk? what is the difference?
But sir can I able to translate some of the example you give here wit my language
Metathesis likely exists in every language. I would expect you could find many instances of metathesis in your language (what language is it) as well.
Feel free to share them here in the comments.
@@AzeLinguistics I m from Nigeria d language is margi
@@tikualon1838 Nice to have you here, Alheri!
Nigeria has some amazingly interesting languages. Hopefully one day I can cover some data from Margi as well :)
@@tikualon1838awn you must have graduated from Unimaid. I studied English Language there 12 years ago.
sk > ks => x
asterisk => asteriks => asterix
kitchen vs. chicken
aks is not a metathesis, aks has existed and survived in English since Chaucer, terrible classic example
Thanks for your comment.
It's metathesis, regardless.
