- This is a great thrash metal song from Trivium's "Ascendancy" album. The picking in this song is pretty crazy, but I think I managed to get it close enough. The solo also requires some very fast finger movement (a bit more than I can handle), so it's a bit sloppy. I hope you enjoy!

If you go to his actual webpage he has a pretty inspirational story(atleast to me). About how he almost gave up playing at one point. But now look at what hes playing. It gives me motivation to keep playing so I hope I can play a song like this someday.

I listen to this every single day since its so catchy to listen to the guitar more than the song and you play it just about 99.9% perfect since at the solo you kinda slowed for a 100th of a second. Nice cat, by the way.
Awesome cover man, I havent really listened to Trivium in a while but this album was a huge influence on me and helped me open my mind to music with harsh vocals and screams.

I try not to get caught up in genres, if something sounds good, and if I like the music, I listen to it. Whether its Thrash or Metalcore, whatever, it sounds great. Oh, and nice cover man, really good.

So many people are totally obsessed with labeling music, it is quite sad. One of my pet peeves has to be people obsessed with labels(goes hand in hand with people who want the "image" of being metal). If you like it, then you like it. Who cares what it is called, I certainly do not care what music is classified as. Trivium is a great band(great live too!) and this is an outstanding cover, as with all your others. Rock on.
