That voice is phenomenal!!!!!!! To be honest, I prefer the original version, however it appears that they had to make some concessions and changes in order to fit the song within the required 3 minute timeframe for Eurovision, and also to include the high notes. Vanessa must represent Australia in Eurovision. Her confidence, stage presence and ability to work a live audience is unmatched. Vanessa is the most underrated artist in the world. I think that she is also the most deserving to represent Australia in Eurovision. She is one of the most hard working artists and when she is not releasing an album, she is stripped back to basics singing soul in small venues in the US and in front of a small intimate crowds. She’s given so much for Australia and I feel that Australia needs to give back to her and vote her in to represent Australia at such a massive worldwide stage
I hope she fixes the first transition from the verse to chorus as it doesn't flow and is rushed and too sharp. The first version was far better imo although this is starting to grow on me *except* for the first V-C transition which sounds out of whack .. hard to explain!

I agree; the end note is great. But this chorus doesn’t soar into the into the “I” as nicely as the DSP version. The way she goes goes from sustained note to note in that version to me was more epic.
