This is NOT a promotional video. I pay for all of my flights and hotels (and I always tell you how much!) so I can be as honest and impartial as possible. I do not receive any special treatment that wouldn’t otherwise be publicly accessible, in fact, the hotels and airlines have no idea about my visit and that's the way I like it!

Your neighbour did not have a "vegetarian option" it was just a regular meal from another type. We receive in Brussels the right amount of meal for our business class passenger, but if a passenger book a ticket last minut we have to call the catering company so that they bring an extra meal wich is not always the same than the other one. Actually one type is served on the outbound flight from BRU and the other one on the inbound flight to BRU. Those meal are called "tapas meal", they are the one served on very short route, less than 1 hour (CDG, FRA, MUC, HAM, GVA, LHR). For a flight between 1h and 2h40 this is a cold meal, bigger, a little bit more elaborate with warm bread. Above 2h40 this is a hot meal. Abover 3h30 a hot meal and then later a light snack.
Ah ok, fair enough! I suppose I just wish they asked the pax who was actually awake which he preferred haha
Actually if we have one tray wich is different, we always try to serve it at last. We try to give everyone the same meal wich is initially foreseen on the flight so that a passenger with a connecting flight for example GVA-BRU-HAM can enjoy two different meals on his journey. Or a passenger flying BRU-LHR on monday and LHR-BRU on tuesday can also have the possibility to have a different meal on both flight. But I do understand your point , I just try to give some background information as I know rules and procedure can sometimes bring frustration when a passenger doesn't understand the reason🙂
I’m a 13 year old frequent flyer with SN and I agree so much with those seets. But I like some parts of brussels airlines like their lexus lounge in brussels A gates or aswell as the lovely crew even if i’m flying completly alone. Though i am looking so forward to flying their brand new A320NEO
Thanks for sharing ✈️
I gather that modern day spies tend to blend-in more effectively with the crowd so harder to spot 😁
See now I thought everyone thought that and therefore further thought that perhaps they're back to dressing like spies since we likely wouldn't have thought that.
@@tfft LOL
youre so lucky, the UK flights leave from the furthest gate from the terminal, practically back home by the time you get to the plane.
At least you didn't need to fly to Geneva to get to Brussels from London haha
Thanks for the info + video!
Thanks for watching 🩴
4:20 "They just feel like an old bus in Saigon" 🤣
Painful but true lol
Your late night meal reminds me of what I call, "stuff everything into the bread roll, lettuce, feta and everything" just so you can have some sort of thrill. However fleeting it may be for a 1 hour "hop". Nice video Sir!
Reminds me of my last night home before a 6 week trip and that's all the food I have left in the fridge hahaha.
You must have read my mind FFT; I need to get to Accra from the continent sometime this year. Cheers and great video.
Enjoy your trip 🗺️
My super heavy global business travel ended in 2004. I don't recall ever flying SN Brussels, but I can confirm that every single flight I took or was booked on but cancelled at the last minute validated the full-length "Such A Bad Experience Never Again" for the SABENA brand. Brussels airline can only have benefited from its acquisition by Lufthansa, who I flew many times.
Sounds like fun haha
I flew onboard Brussels Airlines new A320Neo a few days ago. A Better product then those old A319/A320s 😅😂 also we had a little delay and they gave us water for free.
Free water from Lufthansa... wow, things are looking up 😅
I used the brussels bag for wraping paper once.
😂
Cheers Kevin 😊😊😊😊

When can we expect the Best of 2023 video Kevin?. Good job as always
No best of 2023 is coming, but something similar is in the weeks ahead.
Great review! I might have cracked the majority of the puzzle; From ICN to (blank) on Asiana in Business
I’m guessing LHR
With your powers combined... ✅
You didn't see any international spies... isn't that the point though 😅? Great little flight I have to say, for a European airline! Looking forward to your Emirates "mini-series". Surprised you've never flown them up to this point.
I suppose I could be deflecting... perhaps I was the spy 😂
@@tfft 😅
I am spotting in brussels. And i never saw plane landing at 07.
I didn't realize I was on such a special flight lol.
landing on 07R is very rare ,honest review
Didn't realize I was on a special flight!
yes quite special , happens once or twice in a year@@tfft
Amazing video
Thanks for watching 🩴
I have taken the same flight earlier. I remember that the engine was way too noisy. Did you feel the same?
Great job as always!
Nope, engine sounded very A319-like lol
Hello Kevin! Any chances to try Zipair? I have find only one good videos with honest reference about them, but I would love to see your point of view, LCC Zipair.
Yup, flew them already in Lie Flat, that video I believe will be out around mid-June.
@tfft Thanks you I will look for it much appreciated 👏
G'day from Australia.
I'm only 90 seconds in and I'm thinking, hang on, Schengen zone entry?
If it's possible , as I know there is no current information available on you tube, that is independent. But in a future video, could you please cover the hidden disability sunflower lanyard program.
There are many airports and airlines that are part of the program, but it's not that covered and really just need to fluke it in the online paperwork to pay for your flight (as a special request) or stumble across it on the ground, as you check in. So it would be nice for it to be shown off please?
I'm a little bit confused how it's connected to the Schengen zone?
@@tfft, oh I was just talking about 2 different things. Sorry for the confusion.
In regards to the Schengen zone stuff, I was just thinking that Switzerland was your entry country. But I've not seen all of the video. Again, sorry for the confusion.
Fun fact that Geneva airport is partly in France, partly in Switzerland.
Well I know you can exit directly into France, but the airport itself is fully in Switzerland- at least according to ever map I've seen.
@@tfft runway maybe, but apparently not all the terminals fit on Swiss side.
The old buses here in Saigon have even better seats. 😂.
The new, old busses, perhaps haha.
They have an extensive specialty coffee menu and onboard chef on long haul flights.
You're thinking of Austrian Airlines.
@@tfft Your right, I've never been on Brussels and thought it was Austrian.
The more I see these videos the more I "wish" I could be like Kevin - but I lack the guts - literally (I suffer from IBS), stamina (CFS) and anxiety so am glad seeing the world through a guide dog's eyes kind of thing :) The very thought of having to go back to my usual job of listening to complaining people wanting to be supported without doing anything or whinging about reduction in their pension because they have half a million dollar just make the shrink!
Well that took a turn haha. Luckily, after a decade in Southeast Asia my guts are made of steel 😂. Thanks for watching 🩴
There’s an advantage to being 5’7” , plenty of leg room lol
Honestly I'd trade it in a heart beat. If I can't reach the top shelf I can get a step stool, but if my knees don't fit in an economy seat I can't cut my legs off! 😅
@@tfft that’s for sure 😂
Living in BRU, please do note total population is +/- 1,2M (not 2,1M), I presume you made a typing error 😎
For consistency, I get all of my area population from World Population Review, which estimates the Brussels area population at 2,132,178 in 2024.
How did you get the idea that Geneva has 644‘000 inhabitants? Zurich, as the largest city in Switzerland, has only around 450‘000 😂 Geneva has about 200‘000!
From the World Population Review, same source of all of my populations. The intent is to show airport catchment.
the 3 guys after you deplane looks like spy though!
Fair lol
European flight biz seats are turrble! At least on AAL, DAL, or UAL you get more space on a domestic biz class seat.
DL and UA don't have domestic business 😉 But of course I know what you mean. Euro business is simply a different class of service.
First🎉
Thanks for watching 🩴
They should have taken "la" out of that salad.
It took me three times, but I got there! haha.
Sorry Kevin but the distance between Brussels and Antwerp airport is 94 miles not 20 miles.😉
Well then the Great Circle Map must be wrong!BRU-ANR: 20mi
www.gcmap.com/mapui?P=bru-anr
@@tfftits not wrong its really 20 air miles. The distance with car is just 45km. It can never be 94miles
Yah, I knew it wasn't wrong, but didn't want to tell someone with "antwerp" in his handle that he was wrong about his city haha.
@@tfftI admit I was wrong ☺
European biz class is such a ripoff. Good review Kevin.
Thanks very much 🙏🏻
Even though still in hospital, the Leffe Blond really made me want to have a sip…I suppose that has to be a good sign? 🫣
I reckon when you're craving a Leffe Blond you're on the mend and when craving a Leffe Brune you're fully healed!
The jeans and blazer guy departing in front of you could be a spy? 🫣😂
I mean, let's be real... I could be a spy with my brillant flip flops guise haha.
@@tfft Well, you never show your face. Sure, you say it's so that airlines don't know who you are, but I wonder...
