Coming back 4 months later to tell you thanks. Been following these 4 steps for a few weeks and just got my very first bar muscle up today! No chicken wing either. Thanks for helping people make progress in the sport

Omg! This is exactly what I needed! Thank you so much 💓
I finally did it! Besides from training like crazy, this tips were the key. Thanks!!
Excellent breakdown. I'm going to use this to become more efficient. Thanks very much for sharing this.
Very nice explanation...thank you so much! Cheers from Brazil
You are my new BMU coach for this week. This looks really promising. I'll try this tomorrow!
Interesante explicación, en mi caso lo que sucede es más el miedo a subirme a la barra y caerme que a otra cosa, así que en perder el miedo estoy. Intentaré poner en práctica tus consejos, un saludo desde España.
Damn that was helpful. Khan academy vibes
Gone none skill progression ❤
That’s a kick up not a muscle up

Well executed. Well done - looking good. But this is not a bar muscle up - it is a kipping bar muscle up. I think you know this and are coming at it from a cross fit perspective e.g. permits a kipping muscle up to count. Thats great. But for those trying to get a muscle up or perhaps confused - a muscle up keeps the feet below the hips and knees - pointed towards the ground. E.g it removes the kipping and then relies on muscle strength to achieve as opposed to momentum to swing up. Thus it becomes a strength move and is the next stage after achieving this kipping muscle up. It might be worth pointing that out to any viewer who wants to achieve a full muscle up. Still looking good.
