Excellent.
Now we can make sense of our lab results!
Dear Doctor, thank you for making this video. This is my first and last comment (hopefully) in any social media. You have some extraordinary intelligence, people look for symptoms and ignore the root cause or indicators like inflammation. And you said it right, the majority of doctors ignore these parameters. Thanks for the awareness 😊. Salute
Fantastic thank you so much.
Such thorough info. Glad I found you.
Glad it was helpful!
Excellent video. Very helpful. Thankyou.
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks.
Wish had found it sooner. Been having health issues for years and finally got tested just last week for inflammation. WBC 11.3x10/(9)/L, Neutro Absolute 8.24x10(9)/L, Sed Rate 66mm/hr, CRP 38.0 mg/L. Hopefully the doctor pays a closer attention now and I can find a way forward. If not, will have to find a doc who does. Thank you for making this video.
Finding a doctor who can help you with a program to health improvement is major. Many doctors are restricted on helping because of insurance restrictions or it’s beyond their scope of knowledge.
Just learning all this
the question is.. what you gonna do about it?!
I am very interested in your treatment but I live in the United Kingdom. Do you treat patients here?
How about elevated platelet count? My doctor keeps ignoring it. They don't know what to do.
What about IL6?
What is the test for high LPS level in blood ?
Thank you Dr. I was wondering your thoughts on intestinal cleaning, edemas for ibs, sibo etc 🙏🏻
Enema does not reach the location where bacterial overgrowth and yeast hide out. They are further up in intestines.
@@DrRichardHagmeyer thanks for answering.
But what about Ayurveda's cleaning intestines protocol it's called Shank Prakshalana and it goes all over the digestive track from muth to anus.
There is a bowl cleansing speciality where a practitioner inserts an intestinal bowl flush. Goes beyond a home enema. Sometimes natural ingredient, aloe or coffee enema is used. It doesn’t hurt. I don’t know the name of this practice.
How do you know from where the inflammation is coming from? What is the process of investigation?
Worked with 2 functional med drs for over a year. Ferritin is 199. CRP is 5.13. Homocystine is 9.7. I'm at a loss. Spent close to $13K for no improvement.
What did they think was causing the chronic inflammation?
@@DrRichardHagmeyer The first addressed glucose. The second, his only goal was to get me hooked on thyroid meds.
@@alexiswinter6948 doesn’t sound like a very functional approach. This is why I tell patients to make sure your doctor is certified in functional medicine.
@@DrRichardHagmeyer Both are certified with over 30 years experience each. They said if I resolve other issues the inflammation will go away.
"other issues"?
All good Doc. but it would be nice to know units when you are giving us numbers. For instance for Ferritin you advise fo 80-100 range but you failed to provide UNITS of measure. Not everyone lives in the USA wink, wink.
thank you
Great suggestion!
I have primary Addison’s disease, primary sjorgrens and hypothyroid. I have antibodies for DM/PM, lupus and scleroderma. What’s the likelihood I will end up with more autoimmune diseases knowing I already have these antibodies?
Unfortunately it’s very likely. Visit my website to learn more. You need to identify the triggers behind your immune system imbalance, only then will you alleviate the burden on your immune system and stat stabilizing it. Luckily, we now know that there is not only a genetic component but an epigenetic component to autoimmunity. Lots of information on this channel that pertain to this very topic.
@@DrRichardHagmeyer thank you! Will do.
I've had crp test but it's only 3 but I feel Inflammation in my body
That’s high. Your high risk
I have also mild gastritis
What’s causing your gastritis?
@@DrRichardHagmeyer doctor I have diffuse gastropathy and duodenopathy .. with out any reason . I'm on a fairly good diet 33Y old with father died of stomach Cancer .. . How to get rid of this condition ?
What to do if I have low fasting insulin (2,6)? I am gaining weight + many symptoms of inflammation.
First find out what’s causing your low fasting insulin. Then you can determine best course of action.
Would histamine intolerance cause Hs Crp marker to be out of range?

Esr...is 30. Wow my ferritin was 90 but it came down but don't remember it.

@@DrRichardHagmeyer my ferritin?? I have long haul covid and supposedly lyme disease and co infections
@@DrRichardHagmeyer they say I have fibromyalgia. The rummy wasn't concerned 😭😭 she said it is elevated but has came down. My SED rate was 48
@@DrRichardHagmeyer I'm so sick and none of these western medicine doctors care in north Carolina
I was tested by ESR, from 75 down to 25, is it good news?
Great news!!! But it’s still high. Keepmdoing what your doing and recheck in another 3-4 months.
I'm hyperthyroidism graves disease
I’m sorry to hear that.
Where do you recommend homicysteine?
between 5-7
Biopsy of scalp revealed diffused alopecia areata . I have hyperthyroidism also - what’s the treatment?
Is ferritin 80-100 ug/l? Mines 232
80-100 ng/ml you will need to convert if you don’t use those units.
@@DrRichardHagmeyer says ug/l is same as mg/l 🤔 my iron keeps going up over time, I'm completely exercise intolerant and feel anemic too which is confusing me
@@DrRichardHagmeyermine is 43 ng/ml what does it mean when it’s below 80?
