6:03 I'm same... if anything is coated in breadcrumbs I never know if I've cooked it properly! Still here to tell the tale though.. thank god these packages have recommended cooking times. I've 'bin-dipped' a few times to re-read the timings on a few packs of food in my time because I've forgotten how long it said in the first place 🚾🍤

When you go to an Indian restaurant or get an Indian takeaway, try the chilli king prawns. It's king prawns thrown into a slightly sweet and but quite spicy sauce with onions and bell peppers. Same sauce as you would find in chilli chicken, but with king prawns. One of my favourites mains. Pairs really well with garlic fried rice, and a bit of butter naan to soak up the sauce.
Another dish is tandoori king prawns. It's king prawns marinates in slightly hot spices, then skewered and cooked in a tandoor. One of my favourite starters. Really nice with garlic butter naan.

    Going back.
Fried bread? That's a yum yum.
I follow my mum's tradition. I cook my Sunday fry up in proper fat. That is Lard or beef dripping. Streaky bacon never tastes so good.
I keep a bowl by my cooker. I put some water in the bottom. Pour my fat into it. The residue sinks to the bottom and the flavoured fat rises to the top. Perfect for a fry up. Especially for fried bread. It also does wonders for sausages. The best thing is that you can use it over and over, unlike veggie oil. Lard is just pure fat, no matter how many times you use it.try it out, you will be surprised.

Spicy food is always a bit too much for my tum, but I might try these as you say they are not overly so. As you also say they are a bit dry, well most breaded stuff like this is, and needs a good sauce to juice it up. I am sure your memories of meals past improved these King prawns no end, and how nice to remember the good times like this.

Hiya Gareth, we'll at 2 for a £5note, you can say bargain. I'd risk cooking them in the deep fat fryer. Only to start them off, get them a bit greasy, pop onto a baking sheet. Bung 'em into the oven to finish cooking. That would make sure they weren't dry. Another short, sweet informative video. I'd buy a packet or four. I love hearing about old work place stories. We're we all happy to get to end of the week. Have a few pints, then at closing time, Chinese or Indian maybe have an English 😂😂😂Any thing with chips. Mind got some of the best chips in the Chinese 😂😂❤. Tell you mate as you get older them stories keep ya warm at night. Take care of yourself and continue to enjoy the new lifestyle Allan&Family
