cat nail clippers work just fine be careful not to go in too deep NEVER declaw it's really bad and irreversible 😢

Your mom's very fckn wrong then. It's painful for them to walk IF you declaw them. Cats need to be provided with scratching items like scratching stands and have their nails clipped once in a while if they stay indoors. And that's ALL you have to do for your cat in this case.

I thought you weren't supposed to switch your cats food often..I've had cats since I was a kid and was always told this? If that's not true I feel bad...but mine is so picky I've tried 5 different can foods he won't touch it just wants his dry food or tuna. Any suggestions?
