This was so fun, but you know I love the old and vintage treasure hunts, whether mudlarking, or auctions, metal detecting. Whatever way you chop it, it is fun treasure hunting isn't it. those clock face frames are amazing. I love a mixture of texture in my home. Wood, pottery, metal, textile. All are essential I think to make a home feel cozy.
Absolutely Laura, whatever form it take, we'll always be treasure hunters... It's what we do 😄😃 Thanks for watching 🤠😎🐼
Great video! I never even thought of clock-face-frames as a thing you could buy! GORGEOUS. I like the variety of your videos, so keep on!
Thanks for the great feedback Michelle and thanks for watching 🤠😎🐼
We absolutely love watching you guys! You both are so informative and so much fun! Thank you both
Thank you for leaving such a nice and encouraging comment Polly and thanks for watching 🤠😎🐼
I enjoy going to the shed to watch Phil create or repair things.
You really got a lot of value from the auctions. While I like to see what you’ve found, I’d rather see it as part of a visit to an interesting location.
There were a few of the clock items I found would look nice as mirrors. Even worn glass would look nice.
I’m sure you will get offers on many of them.
I expect you won’t have a live show this week. If you do let us know here or on Facebook. Byeeee👋👍
Hello Dorothy, just catching up on a month of comments and I'm half way through. Thanks for the feedback on the auction video. I like your idea of mixing the auction finds with the travel videos, we'd love to do that, but at the moment we're thinking to use the auction finds on weeks that we can't get out either due to the weather or ill health. The idea of mirrors in the clock faces is great. Thanks for watching 🤠😎🐼
Oh I so love a good auction. Such fun and I still love to attend in person, but it's quite handy to be able to make your bids at home and collect your goodies later. You got some thumping great bargains! Great minds were thinking alike with the glass globe and the lamp thingy, and I still have the feeling that the base could be some kind of lamp. (I found a sort of tubular wick which might have fitted such a lamp). But in any case they look like a perfect match together. Loved your bowl repair Phil. Like you I'm fascinated by those old staple repairs and you did a great job in making your own repair. (You look great framed Phil..... 🤣👍). Lovely, lovely video. Thank you both very much! More please. (Ideal during the wintry weather).
Thanks for the feedback, we'll certainly do another auction video, as so many seem to have enjoyed it. We always say, the secret to getting a bargain is to know when to stop bidding. For every lot we buy there are usually 100 that got away and went too far. Thanks for watching 🤠😎🐼
Yes, more auction videos please!
Will do Cathryn, thanks for the feedback 🤠😎🐼
I'm so happy you found a good use for the glue, and what a pretty bowl it turned out to be 😊
There's always a good use for glue around here Geoff 😄😃 Thanks for the gift & for watching 🤠😎🐼
I absolutely love the clock frames. I think you will make a handsome profit. ♥️
I agree Margie, definitely a good find for Caroline, she knows her stuff... Thanks for watching 🤠😎🐼
Oh I so loved seeing your treasures! Phil, I love boxes too! Caroline, I was blown away by the clock face surrounds! Beautiful, absolutely beautiful! Your rocking horse will be awesome decked out for the Christmas season! Please do show us what you end up doing!❤
Thanks so much for the feedback. And it's great to know you share my love of boxes too. When we bid on the clock faces we had no idea exactly how many there were or what was on most of them, so it was exciting to discover what we had when we collected our lots. 🤠😎🐼
Definitely enjoy the auction finds, finding treasures in less precarious places.
That's great, thanks for the feedback, and thanks for watching 🤠😎🐼
Well, those metal clock surrounds stole the show!! 😲😍😍 This was such good fun - like shopping at the brocants without leaving home. 😂😂 I'll be interested to see what shows up in future craft videos. 😁 See you again soon. 🥰😘🤗💖👍👋
They are beautiful Noralee. Yes, bargains and treasure are fun home and abroad 😆😂 Thanks for watching 🤠🙂🐼
Good to see your videos of all kinds of finds. Auctions,
Flea markets, French markets, mudlarking , historical , and the shed and repairs. The variety of all you both do is very interesting and entertaining. Thanks for sharing. Namaste. Carpe Diem.
Glad you enjoy all the different types of video Anne, thank you for your encouragement and thanks for watching 🤠🙂🐼
This video was a welcome change. Love auction finds.
Love the shed. 👍
That's great... Thanks for watching 🤠😎🐼
Wow, what a haul!!!! The clock surrounds are amazing! I love the Victorian era styles the best. 🙂
Glad you liked the Auction Haul Joni, the Victorians made some beautiful things, from furniture & ornaments to buildings & bridges. 🤠😎🐼
Love the auction finds! The clock frame with the flowers is beautiful ❤
We love the Auctions too Angela, Thanks for watching 🤠😎🐼
Love seeing the treasures you find…more videos like this please!
Thanks for the feedback Lori, and we will do more... Thanks for watching 🤠😎🐼
I just love auction hauls. You two just some really nice items.
Thanks for the feedback, and thanks for watching 🤠😎🐼
Loved this episode! Great finds! On-line auctions are filled with A+ surprises!
That's great Sonia, and you're right, there are always surprises at the auctions. 🤠😎🐼
I definitely believe (according to a brief Google search) your first item is a gas table lamp.
Wonderful stamps! Great buys!
Thanks Janet 🤠😎🐼
❤
Thanks for watching 🤠😎🐼
I love the frames. They are so beautiful 🤩
We were very happy to get those frames Kristina, glad you like them too 🤠😎🐼
You are both so adorable. 😂
And you are too kind Sara. Thanks for watching 🤠😎🐼
Wow what a great haul! I loved them all and their multiple uses. That first item could be an old lamp - just a guess though. I really enjoyed this as a change because I love a bargain, love old things, and love seeing Phil in the shed! xx Teresa❤🇦🇺
Thanks for the great feedback Teresa, and I think you're right about the lamp. 🤠😎🐼

Mirrors, those would make awesome mirrors !
They certainly would Christine. Thanks for watching 🤠😎🐼
I definitely a person that likes the old things, those clock faces are amazing and yay a shed video, about time Ive missed them. Awesome video but im biased I like all of your videos. Take care and thank you for sharing 👏🙏❤️

Brilliant Anne, I'm sure there will be more to come. Thanks for watching 🤠😎🐼
A great result on your £6 box!
We love it when we get a good assortment for a great price Dave. But we have to be careful not to get carried away, because loads of lovely things go past our bid and it can be hard to say no! Thanks for watching 🤠😎🐼
This was so fascinating and interesting because it is still history. Some of those pieces could be hundreds of years old! I would love for you to do more of these videos. Maybe find out a little bit about them or maybe ask the subscribers to look into them. Nicola White finds things on the Thames Foreshore and will give information she has and asks if someone could help find more information. I think that is 😎 cool. I just found information on someone in London for Si-finds . Have a great week ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
Thanks for the positive feedback Susan, and you're right about how the community can be so helpful with research and information. Comments on videos can be really helpful. 🤠😎🐼
Hello Phil and Caroline,
This is an interesting departure from your usual videos, it would be interesting to follow you through an auction, and maybe a follow up doing some repairs and restoration.
I have a question related to that, when you were glueing the shards of the porcelain bowl, did you clean the edges of the shards beforehand?
Glad you found the video interesting Paul... And your idea of follow up on items is great, thanks. I didn't clean the shards on this occasion, as the breaks had just occurred and were crisp & clean. Thanks for watching 🤠😎🐼
Loved the video!
That's great Carol, thanks for watching 🤠😎🐼
If you do decide to sell any of the clock face covers, especially the colourful flowers and birds one. Please let me know. I love the idea of using one as a frame for mine and my partners future handfasting ceremony photograph. ❤
We will be selling on some of the clock faces Meg, please drop us an email (mudlarking@aol.com) and we can keep you in the loop. The Handfasting Ceremony sounds wonderful 🤠😎🐼
Put a mirror in middle of them they look lovely
You're right, they would look great, Thanks 🤠😎🐼
Like like like 🙂
That's great great great David... Thanks for watching 🤠😎🐼
I thought you was selling up and travelling or did I get that wrong
No Billy, that was the plan. It's why we called the channel 'Let's Go' and we were all set to travel Europe for 2 years on my 60th birthday, but on my birthday we couldn't even leave our county thanks to the pandemic lockdown and the next month we had Brexit and the UK left the EU. And that was just the beginning of a year of significant events that had a massive impact on our lives and made our plans to travel impossible, but we are making new plans and enjoying every day. 🤠😎🐼
@@LetsgowithTheJohnsons don't blame you life is too short
Wow those clock faces sell for average of 100 bucks
Wow! Indeed... That makes them a very good buy! 🤠😎🐼
