At the beach I lost my wedding ring I've had 42 years. Someone told me about Shawn. Lost ring around noon, got ahold of him around 4, he called around 6 that he'd found it!! He's awesome. Wouldn't take a reward but he did accept a slice of pie my wife had baked while we were at the beach.
That clear water was like a wonderland: the turtle, the crystal clarity of the water, your goggles and snorkels finds - enough to start a scuba shop, it was all magical. Thanks for sharing.
How cold is the water? Are there Gators? Who in the heck goes in the water with a Benji in their pocket? I would actually be more thrilled to find the one that says “Movie Prop” that’s kinda cool. Fun hunt.
Do you ever take your metal detector in the river? I've watched Nora Svet detect some of our springs and she finds tons of stuff. I LOVED seeing the spring water and the sweet little turtle.
@@DetectFlorida these rivers are so creepy. I hate muddy rivers, I'm sure here in nc that you would find confederate stuff if you could drain huge muddy rivers like lockets and eye peices

Do a competition with her. who finds more things, you with the scoop, or her while diving. that would give a lot of clicks! Keep it up!
Haha maybe we'll run into each other one of these days! I know she detects here sometimes. She's been doing a lot of international trips these days. Using a scoop is WAY more productive than diving in my opinion! ;) But I do both!
I think Nora loves blue sea and beautiful beaches, that's the main thing for her. She will love Florida! Competition, competition, competition, competition!!! ;-)

Nope! What I do is completely legal, and the interactions I do have with law enforcement is always very positive. I remove a lot of trash from the water/sand, and am very respectful of the properties where I hunt
Hey! I detect Manasota beach every now and then. I've done a bunch of ring recoveries over there. The water temp in the river is in the high 70's to low 80's, and the spring water temperature is right at around 70 degrees
I love it. I just purchased my second one, and right out of the box, I had issues with it. I have it boxed up next to me, ready to be shipped back for service.

I use two small solar panels on top of my Hooka to keep the battery charged so look in to it with yours

I don't detect in the river. The current is pretty strong, and you move too quickly to be successful with a detector

I did the 4th of July 2 years ago at Ginnie, I don’t recommend it! Crazed college kids! But we definitely had fun.
I try to go on weekdays whenever possible. Its soooo busy on weekends and especially holidays!
