@@zephanmoses All Blackmagic right now. ATEM Mini Extreme, several Blackmagic cinema cameras. So to get all this power in such a small package will be awesome!!
Is it manual focus only? If you need to refocus (for instance if you are showing an item to the camera then want to focus back on your own face), the only way to do that is to use the app?
This blew your mind? Really? It's a sub-par camera limited to 30fps and costs a grand. The only thing mindblowing about this thing is the price. Logitech really missed the mark with this thing.
This camera seems great, but if you do mostly sports, not an option until they can provide 60p. I would even take a 720p60 with this camera's capabilities.
Not sure it's due to focusing, camera doesn't look sharp as compared to many of the M43 camera in the market. Visual quality is not great, but generally a interesting and innovative product.
@@monicarangel8048 are you trying to record or stream? Because recording sports typically requires a very fast servo autofocus and this might not be the right tool for the job. I’ve seen people use the mevo’s to livestream sports so I know it’s possible but recording fast paced movement is a whole different ballgame no pun intended. From needing to actually run the camera and follow the action it might not make sense for a more static camera to be used.
I don't have a recommendation for an alternative yet as I don't have any experience with Mevos - so I really can't speak intelligently about them. However, @jasonhoffmanyt has plenty of experience and videos that might be helpful in pointing you in the right direction👍
The Blackmagic Micro Studio Camera 4K G2 is slightly cheaper than the mevo core if size is a big deal (it does 2160p/60fps). I still prefer the BMD Studio Camera 4K Plus G2 for not much more (brand new).
Different features, different usage case. Blackmagic doesn’t have a wireless app to manage and switch multiple cameras remotely or built in encoding or NDI. Depends on the usage case for sure.
Definitely an option for traveling light with pro level quality
Oh my God!!! I’m changing my whole setup!! Thank youuuuuuuuu!!!
What’s your current setup?

Any way to incorporate a PowerPoint into the stream and deliver on Zoom? Thank you!
@@gravitymediapro you can take the usb out from one camera direct into a computer
What video editor do you use for your CZcams videos??
I have a full timer for most things. He didn’t work on this one, it was just me that’s why there’s not a whole lot of text or transitions like usual.

A way better choice than mirrorless camera now in my opinion
How's the color accuracy?

Agreed. $399 at best.
Someone from the Mevo development team mentioned that 60fps may be added in an update. They’re considering it.
my lens won't retract all the way and I can't control the zoom from the camera and I have the exact same lens as in the video

There’s a sharpness setting that I had turned down. Combined with CZcams compression it’s definitely getting impacted by a few variables.
Love it but the price tag is ridiculous!!
Arrrgh! I love this but its 30 fps only! Can't believe there isn't at least HD @ 60 fps... I need that for streaming sporting events. 😢😢😢😢😢😢

Someone from Mevo’s team confirmed they are considering 60fps for an update and are working with their R&D team.
So, what Mevo would you recommend for sporting events? My son plays outfield and recording games for baseball is difficult

Can you control the mevo app and via the mevo app the cameras (inc powered zoom) via bitfocus companion or a native streamdeck app???
Great question. I doubt there is immediate support but I’m sure over time perhaps that could happen.
@@zephanmoses worth asking them if they have plans for this and if so then how soon
It's way too expensive. I can get an older Blackmagic Studio camera for the same price.
