- I witnessed the grand opening of Ayr United's new & improved North Stand at Somerset Park. To mark the occasion, Celtic came to town meaning Scott Brown would face his former manager, Brendan Rodgers.

Celtic coming in and being held to a draw for Ayr United was certainly as good a result as could have been expected. Scott Brown has shown he has the class to be successful in the years to come. Ayr United had a good season last year. Hopefully they can get a fast start under them and can build on for promotion. The stadium development is a huge step in having the right infrastructure to move up the pyramid.

Watched them play last season. Young Andrew Dunne pinged a 70 yard pass to Murphy and he twatted it top bins with an overhead kick from outside the box. SERIOUS players

This is an extremely so fantastic video and just imagine that in future,if Scottish legendary wrestler Drew Galloway boss who hails in Ayeshire and despite being a lifelong Rangers supporter,buys his hometown footballing club Ayr United which is one of my favourites ever?That would surely change a bit of the Scottish footballing landscape and slowly transform them to start winning trophies,good friends!!!👍

Why do Scotish stadiums have 4 seperate stands as opposed to mostly England/Europe when the all the 4 stands are connected.

There are a number of clubs in Scotland with connected stands however as the person above said it’s about ££
However so,reset like most English stadiums pre 90s is considerably old and many back then had 4 separate stands
@pattisinwal when bottom of the English Premiership gets ten times the prize money of top of the Scottish Premiership, you'd appreciate the disparity.
