I love dr berg, he just tells it like it is. Gotta stop eating sugar folks! You’ve eaten 10,000 cookies, 500 slices of pie cake and a couple of oil drums of ice cream! You have to save you!
I haven't heard your thoughts on Allulose. I really like it for adding texture and a nice brown crust on baked goods. But i will hold off buying the 20 pound bag until I can find a review from a reliable person like You!❤
Yep- allulose isn’t mentioned a lot, but there it is in the background, just doing it’s job. ❤️ And no problems have been associated with it so far. I think. I loved erythritol, but it’s questionable to me now, and I’m not getting good answers from anyone I trust here on CZcams, Dr.Berg included. (Unless I missed it, so if anyone knows any comments from Dr B or any trusted source for erythritol’s safety, I’d appreciate it.)
In small quantities there's no way unless you're intolerant to these compounds, that they're gonna hurt you. The amount of fructose and sugar we eat on a daily basis in a modern diet is so much more harmful. Think about how many people die from heart disease alone
I agree with you. Did a bit of an observation myself. At least our body recognises coconut sugar as natural and can process it unlike the other sugar alcohols. Of course, we shouldn't overdo the sugar intake.
I’m using Canderel Sugarly which has 0 calories and I would like to know if the one I’m using any good. Please Dr. Eric Berg would you please give me your advice?
you are amazing and I can’t tell you how much I personally appreciate all of your hard labors and your many years of experience and the fact that you share the truth and honesty with us thank you so very much. I am paying attention along with the many others I see on this site. I read there Responses and I feel like I’ve gone back in time to a place when medicine was seriously practiced. short of making this an extremely long post I heard yesterday that back before our time that you really shouldn’t have been a doctor unless you understood the zodiac simply because of the moon, and when we bleed, and what causes blood flow and how it can harm you during surgery and what not, have you ever heard that? Sorry not related to your video. Thank you
Excellent job producing a quick informational short video on such an interesting topic. Thank you. Please consider making a video explaining the different types of flavors of these alternative sugars, and how they taste incorporated in food, and which foods work best with each specific type of alternative. Again, thank you doctor for all of your interesting and helpful content. God bless.
Erythritol gives me vicious headaches, & with xylitol I need to be careful or I get the runs. Fortunately, I've used stevia successfully for over 2 decades.
All the sweetness he recommended is all I have in my kitchen. Basically it’s sweeteners that are extremely low glycemic and barely if at all raise your blood glucose level.
@@SG-xb7deYou are most likely referring to monk fruit blend. Monk fruit all by itself doesn't contain erythritol to my knowledge. Same as a Stevia blend instead of just stevia.
Yes... xylitol is my go to sugar and had doubts about coconut sugar altho it isn't very sweet so had to add more to my coffee. I also use xylitol gum, mints and xylitol mouthwash under the name Spry. Does not kill your good bacteria and has has no alcohol in it. Very refreshing. Thanks Dr Berg for this video.
Thanks for advise Dr. Berg!!. I just bought some coconut rolls with cinnamon at HEB here in Pearland, TX and Nutritional Data states 0 sugar and 0 sugar added. I will stay with almond cookies with stevia at Aldi’s
I recently purchased a zero sugar coffee creamer and it was HORRIBLE!! OMG the taste was sooo bad and somehow sooo sweet. I threw it in the trash. How much normal sugars are acceptable for the keto/fasting requirements? Also curious about the dna damage.. thanks in advance dr berg and team!
I always take Dr Berg advice but with this, Im not. Coconut is pure, being it sweet whats wrong with that. Pure honey is too much sugar but healthy so as fruits like pineapple
I think you should use fruit date fruit and other fruits that have high sugar content that can be used as a substitute like date pace and things like that that you make on your own those other things sound very harsh artificial Lee made nature is always best😢😮😊
I use xylitol for sure. Thanks doctor Berg you have given me so many golden nuggets and turned my health around for the better. My kidneys are great stage 2 and I'm not turning back. Sending love from my Jamaican roots ❤️🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
Organic coconut sugar should be you at levels you want just eliminate white sugar you should be good, anything else is a chemical man made don’t use them and the less sugar intake the better we are.
Raw honey is better than anything he recommends. I’m a nutritionist. I don’t do any that he suggests. They destroy the gut. I do raw honey, raw local maple syrup and coconut sugar.
Consider the source on that one. Blaming erythritol rather than the recently popular injectable salvation concoction. Makes one wonder if the “study” was released to cause confusion and blame shifting for those heart attacks.
Xylitol and erythritol are chemical, lab made artificial sweeteners! Coconut sugar is natural. So what if it has a lot of sugar. It's natural, unrefined, unprocessed (organic ones, at least) and pure. Same as eating fruit! I personally recommend honey and maple syrup
STOP spreading propaganda. Both xylitol and erythritol are naturally derived. ❗❗They are not chemically made❗❗They are from plants and wooden trees and other natural sources🙄
Less processed sugar is best such as Palmyra palm jaggery. Stevia or monk fruit sweeteners are still refined sugar. Palmyra palm jaggery provides some health benefits thanks to its unrefined processed method. It has low glycemic index, vitamins and minerals. Learn more about this natural sweetener here: czcams.com/video/J13m-w2dn4g/video.html

It doesn’t matter that he started off as a chiropractor. He had more nutritional education than any MDiety I ever worked with as a nurse. BTW, your dislike of chiropractors is based on a couple of anecdotal incidents that happened years ago. Modern chiropractors are well schooled, know more physiology and anatomy than alliopathic doctors who are generally schooled more in how to write expensive prescriptions than getting to the root cause of patients ill health.

Allulose is good as well.
I love how he overanswers the question with a few more important bits of related info. This is a guy who really wants to help. ❤
Please make a video on Erythritol; 😕 studies linking it to blood clots. Thank you for all your hard work.
