I love this song so much. And I was bought to here by their recent kexp performance and I must say...they look even more physically attractive now - I couldn’t help but notice!
Doesn't quite compare to the recorded version, but a great piece of work nevertheless. One of my favourite bands ever since I heard their Mercury Music Prize winning album. I worked for years with Ben Ottewell's dad, Joe, at Chesterfield College. So sad he never got to see his son's success. I remember being slightly miffed when Ben, as a toddler, spent ages jumping up and down on my brand new settee when I lived in Youlgreave. I think I've probably forgiven him by now. I guess I could forgive that voice almost anything. Saw Joe's ex-wife Sam at a couple of their concerts in Sheffield in the late nineties - early two thousands, but didn't feel confident to (re-) introduce myself. Sad about that. Good to know Ben's still making great music.

Their drummer can certainly play a bit.
I spend like maybe a third of my time watching him at shows. His kit is normally way bigger than this, and he's awesome to watch play the thing.
Apparently he was studying to be a jazz drummer when they got signed.
Ollie is absolutely one of the best. He - like the band as whole - deserves more recognition.
