White Cane vs Guidedog - Blind walking

I hope this video highlights a lot of the amazing work and difference that a guide dog can make for a person with low, or no vision. Today, I took my guide dog, Spencer, who I have now had for just over a year to my local dog groomer, as a treat.
I then had to walk back to collect him using my white cane. The difference is pretty staggering. With a white cane, you know something is there, when you hit it. With a guide dog, the walk is so fluid and you seem to almost glide through your walk.
This is just the way I personally walk with a cane and a guide dog, and everyone with a visual deficit is different and may approach things differently.
But the difference to em is like night and day, and my life since having a guide dog has been changed for the better, beyond belief
