Do you install bridge doctor and use duplicate gauge of strings? Like two sets of six-string
Yes
usually what you do is buy two packs of 6 strings and string it normally but dont put in the second E string because then it would be too much tension and you wouldn’t really need a bridge doctor most of the time
I dont have a bridge doctor installed but I do recommend it. And yes I use two sets of six strings BUT I only put on one low E to reduce tension on the guitar

I think what you are asking about is intonation. And there are a lot of things that could cause bad intonation. You should maybe look up a video about it specifically.

Just got my first 12-string from these guys a few months back. Guitar is absolutely beautiful! But it plays like shit tbh 😂 Definitely needs new string right out of the box, and needs to have some bridge work done. My D-strings are spread too far apart compared to the other strings and it buzzes like crazy. Makes a good wall ornament though lol

hey my parents are letting me get a new guitar but i have like around 300 dollar budget. idk if there is ang guitsr would reccomend. I want a 12 string but i dont think thats possible with 300 😭😭
I got a rouge-a something for like 180 but it’s not an electric acoustic got at guitar center
In his old shorts he uses the dangelico premier Fulton it costs 250 and it sounds good (in my opinion) but I think you will need to put a bridge doctor on it or just tune it differently if you are going to put on paired strings on it (and it’s acoustic electric too)
