I have no idea why people started watching danganronpa now. I started watching quite recently due to a crossover with a game called “identity v” but a lot of people on a game on ROBLOX called “Royale high” have been into the game I guess because of lockdown?
funny thing is this is probably what they did. It has been stated that Sayaka and Leon are the first sprites who were created and finalized. They have been kept being used as bases and references while making the characters. Then the staff got sick of them then got killed of first :P
AfterTech Yeah he would. He would've been useful during trials, for when someone is throwing out theories or lying, he would probably ask for the proof or legitimacy of their statement which would've been helpful. He also had great potential for character development later on, as in his School Mode Ending and his Heart Event, thanks to Makoto, he had gotten significant character development for someone who died early on. Which leads me to my next point, which is he most likely would've been Makotos best (guy) friend. Probably a relationship similar to the one Shuichi and Kaito have in V3, with the whole "We're bros! I'm the hero, and he's my loyal sidekick, and we help eachother out!" Kinda thing except with more girl drama. It would've also been funny having Leon give Naegi relationship advice, that may or may not end horribly.

I don't care if you like Leon or not, but you can't deny that there was a huge possibility for character development with him. Besides, character development can happen to any character, hell, Hagakure even got character development in UDH.
This is really good! Your sprite actually does look cannon! I personally think the pose is a bit stiff and the positions of the hands seems uncomfortable, but that can be something to work on :) you’re very good at drawing the clothes and body though! That’s something I personally have to work on
Grim Hood it's probably because she wanted to make something simple and quick, plus the hands are hell to work on, they're like the toughest part of drawing.
The artist was making something quick and simple, and it is a bit rude to say that unless the artist is asking for critique, but sometimes it does help :)

The style has even bled into my own personal style a bit Thank you for making this video, it changed the course of my art completely and I'm happy it did.
My first advice is to try and redraw canon characters. If you practice at that first, the style will be easier to change to create your own characters.

Wolfystar Delilah kid 动漫生活 nice! If you want to improve I recommend tracing, however don't claim it as your own and always credit the artist. And don't publish it, really. Don't use black to shade. And draw a ton. Also, draw lines on a separate layer for where light is coming from and use a light color that isn't white and use soft light and lower opacity. (Tips) IbisPaint is nice though

The logos are the characters old high school.Everyone has one but its not nessecary to be on their outfit.Many character'sdont have a logo o their outfit but their character design creators made a logo just for their school(even if you dont see it ever).Some characters have logos on their clothes but they arent their school logo ex. Ryoma/Rantaro(his hat and his shirt have logos that are just part of their style but not a school logo) It really isnt needed but it adds some distinguishing feautures.

Leon was exceptionally boring. There literally *couldnt* be character development with him.

Actually, the symbols are quite necessary as the symbol is a representation of their old high school. Every character has one.
Not all the characters have them though. For example, Sakura, Hiyoko, Rantaro and Ryoma don't wear their school's logos
Doesn't matter, they're still got one. Also, for Hoshi's case; he could be wearing it under his jacket.
Yes, they have them, but they aren't necessary to put on the character design since not all of the students wear the logos on their clothing
Ryoma was a prisoner, Rantaro is an adventurer Sakura wears her school's uniform, and Hiyoko is a traditional dancer and loves her outfit.
