  • CHALLENGE 2 - HOW TO MAKE A PLANET
MAKING IS A WAY OF UNDERSTANDING THE THINGS AROUND YOU.
    INSTRUCTIONS:
1 - Identify the ideal weight of your planet (5-8 LBS max).
2 - Select and weigh your materials.
3 - Build your planet: think in terms of strength and durability. Keep it tight.
4 - Your planet is finished when you are confident it can be thrown full force into the air, and land without fear of rupture - like a medicine ball.
HOLD ON TO YOUR PLANET AND AWAIT FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS.
PRO TIP: Use more tape than you think you should. I used two whole rolls. Keep in mind: this will be thrown around.
    MY PLANET:
TYPE: terrestrial with a molten iron and nickel inner core, outer core, mantle, and crust.
    WEIGHT - 6.01 LBS
INNER CORE - molten iron and nickel, can of tomato sauce
    OUTER CORE - gel pack
    MANTLE - bubble wrap
    CRUST - duct tape
