Dude, Manson is the reason for what i love music, and see how his music change over the years until this point is just gorgeous, the vocals, the progression, the lyrics and OMG that chorus really hits, loving this song.

@@mvg5767 Manson is an artist, the AI art was used so well I think it was incredible, it adds a creepy / dystopian / sterile / uncanny feeling, I don't know why people can't appreciate it when AI art is used properly, complaining about something like AI is useless, it is a modern inevitability and definitely has its place in art, those are the visions Manson had for the video, AI generates insanely cool and unique imagery, it was done beautifully imo Also it looked like AI but artists are capable of making things that look like they're AI generated, the majority of the music video wasn't AI and was all done with artists and people with lighting and cameras and people were hired to do makeup, create the set, and probably clothing, using AI for a couple frames only adds to the distorted and creepy feeling Manson envisioned for the video
His voice sounds amazing wtf!!! Amazing song. Honestly I can’t believe he is back and with such a good music. The Manson I’ve been waiting since Holly Wood
Maannn. My initial thought on first listen. Mechanical Animals. Probably The Speed of Pain. Coma Black came to mind after. Not saying they're the same but the soundscape evokes a similar sound.
I'm a big Brazilian fan of Manson. For me, it's amazing to see this comeback, especially with this fantastic single. I'm grateful that Manson made me who I am today, made me a musician, a person who loves and appreciates good music.
For an initial, impromptu reaction, I thought you did an excellent job articulating your thoughts. And I appreciate your clear passion for/knowledge of Manson's work; that's something we have in common. I believe you've earned my subscription, stranger.
Im 42, i was OBSESSED with this man and his band of misfits back in the 90s, from Spooky kids era all the way till Golden age, when i fell off and just couldnt watch his downward spiral, no pun intended Trent, but imagine my shock when his new video randomly came up in my feed and im literally blown away at how good he looks and sounds, its like 2001 Manson is back and even shades of 1997 Manson. Count me IN on the new album, cant wait. Welcome back Manson! now get Twiggy, Ginger and John 5 and Pogo back and crack skulls!
Loved the song and the music video. He looked straight out of Holywood era. His vocals are so crisp compared to the last 3 albums (which i still love but he slurred and croaked on all of them). He's 110% back i cant wait for the album.
I also am a big Portrait fan, no duh,.. but also on this song is a very diff style and rock style even.... it reminds me of him attempting a diff kinda band while maintaining his image. Video I wanted to sit down with my breakfast, but I so could not. it's a little tourniquet and very uncomfortable to see. Which is awesome. Just cant' eat at the same time. Lol just go watch that too. Tyler Bates on Guitar and Production on this I do believe!
Eat me drink me is one of my darkest time and possibly my favorite!!! Love all of his stuff but this is beautiful got my tickets in Atlanta in September cant wait
We're back! What's up dude, just checking out your video after hearing the new song and wanting to see people's first reactions. Been a long time fan of Manson since the early 2000s the new song was and I feel like a kid right now. I'll definitely be back as more songs come out! PS: Right there with you, Holy Wood is one of my favorites too. I have one of the original pressings on vinyl!
I've noticed that some recent comments of ,"not too long ago" stuff that Manson has done left them yearning for his material that came out when Manson first came out. The brand new stuff that has come out, I feel, has answered that yearning and at the same time is showing Manson is improving and sounding like he can create something new. I'm excited, I'm enthusiastic and I'm very proud of Marilyn Manson!
I listed to his audiobook and I read the physical copy as well , and that’s what got me into his music 4 months ago and it’s all iv been listening to it’s just so good , and his latest song is just amazing, some of his best work
As a fan since 1997 who has severely criticized his efforts from TGAOG and forward - I absolutely adore this fucking song and I am so happy to be here for SOBER REFORMED MM. THIS is what I’ve been waiting for since the end of the golden age era
I cannot describe how fucking happy I am to see Manson back. I swear to fucking god all of this feels so unreal- I'm kinda wondering if he's gonna attempt any screaming/ harsh vocals on the album lol
If he has screams on the new album I might actually cry... this song sounds to me like a perfect closer, kinda like man that you fear from antichrist superstar
His live vocals on all the videos from the past few days are on a level he has never been at before. It doesn't seem possible for someone to transform that much
Manson basslines are massively underrated imo. Mechanical Animals, this track and we are chaos to name a few. The mix on this song is crazy. BUT, what makes this comeback better if he knew he had to make it worth while, he clearly trained his vocals and got fit and its impact on his recent live and this is pure Manson nostalgia for me. I do hope to hear some chugs and classic palm muted powerchords.
Your intro is what I am after FR. I was in the top 0.00001% or something crazy like that, for minutes listen to him. His art and influence on music is fucking massive and most don't even realise it. Beyond excited for this album
So glad he’s back! I have sadly never seen him on tour and so far, I’m not seeing any FL shows so I’m keeping my fingers crossed for future shows! I definitely had an obsession in my high school years…he’s such an icon

The man is back, something masterful, it was worth the wait for all this time, it reminds me a lot of Antichrist Superstar, the costumes, from what I can see, and the video itself, with low financial cost but something masterful, makes me think that Manson wants all the attention for himself, he wants to definitively show his return to the scene, as if he were imprisoned, confined by the accusations against him, being accused and having repercussions only in the neighborhood is one thing, now being accused and the whole world finding out about these false accusations, the guy has to have a lot of psychology to turn things around, and Manson incredibly uses these frustrations and tools through his art to produce what we call masterful, like in the time of Antichrist Superstar, Mechanical Animals Hollywood! The strangest part about this song is that it's the first one that's actually overtly positive. First 2 CD's I ever owned were Manson -Portrait- and Korn -Self Titled- been a fan of both since the early 90's and have enjoyed watching them grow and develop as artists. Being in the group of the pioneers of the early Nu-Metal era. This New Manson song hits hard. He sounds incredible! Looks HEALTHY and revitalized! SUPER stoked for this album. This song gave me a "mature" Mechanical Animals vibes. The production sounded fantastic.
For me it was cassette tapes, but my first were Manson's "Smells Like Children" and Korn's "Life is Peachy." Still a huge Manson fan to this day. Love Korn too, but Manson will forever be my number one.
Thanks for the reaction, i was surprised he relaesed this new single but was wondering if he would release a new album this year as he said at his birthday that 2024 would be a big year and with his trial set for next year that will no doubt take up all his time and be very stressful for him but us years long manson fans i am sure will support him through it, but he looks great though with his weight loss and going sober and love that he has returned to his iconic look and sound and his record producer said this new album is a masterpiece so this is going to be a great year for us manson fans

Apparently Manson is sober again... I actually believe it because in my personal opinion it shows in the music, and I'm so glad we got the old Manson back.
Many who thought it was time to dogpile on, and that chose to not take the mans true character into the equation will be looking very foolish. Since 1994....I stand by Manson and will continue to do so
i am SO happy with his vocals and the singing in the higher register. the last 3 albums have kinda lost me with the croaky groaning and slurring. this sounds how Manson *should* sound.

If Coma Black, In the shadow valley of death, lamb of God and Last Day on Earth had a baby lol Honestly so excited for this comeback tour and being a part of his return. I got tickets for August as well
Update: the show was a 10/10. Fantastic lineup, and had the opportunity to meet Manson himself. He was the most soft spoken, most polite and respectful person I have ever met. Even though it was only a few minutes to meet and have a conversation with him, it was such a wholesome experience and hearing him say to me, “I appreciate you” after telling him that his music and art helped me stay alive for over 10 years is something that I will truly never forget. Getting a hug from him was everything. This comeback tour was everything I have ever wished for and the adrenaline and the crowd’s reaction to him coming out on stage is something that everyone who is a fan should experience. It was worth every single penny.
