@@HomeschoolwithJen hey, Jennifer? Just curious. Can you please point me to a Literature program that focuses in on Literary Elements and Devices for Novels in the 3-5th grade age range? That's the only component of my ELA curriculum that is missing now that you've helped me make a decision on Reading Comprehension.
I've searched and can't find anything on alliteration, mood, setting, theme, climax, resolution, etc., PAIRED with a novel the child must read). Memoria Press seems to focus primarily on Reading Comprehension questions and Lightning Literature barely scratches the surface of Literary Elements. If anyone else is reading this and knows of one, please respond back to me as well. Thanks so much, Jen!

I have one on the Laura Ingalls Willder series that I'm thinking about using next year. We are currently trying it out for the first book, so I'm not sure if I like it or not. I haven't researched past this one as it was recommend to me. Hopefully, someone else that has a recommendation will be able to provide it.

We use it quite a bit. I'm really glad that I found it, especially for the vocabulary reinforcement.

Very helpful flip through. I enjoy using Abeka, and a few others. I have never heard of the Smart Alec before, but it looks very neat as well. :-)

The Abeka ones are my daughter's favorites. She retains so much information from them. Thank you for watching.
