I cross this thing twice a day every day. Fun Facts: The Eastbound 2 lane bridge was the first one built and at the time was the longest above water bridge in the world. the Bay Bridge utilizes each of the different bridge building designs (suspension, truss, etc.). The Eastbound bridge is only a 40 mph until the peak when it turns 50 mph however the Westbound/EZ Pass bridge is a 50 mph throughout. The EZ Pass lane on the Westbound bridge is the most dangerous lane in the state!
Crossed it in January 04 middle of a blizzard was delivering lamps to trump plaza and hotel in Atlantic City seems like I remember traffic going both ways on the same bridge and they were working on the other at the time maybe they were salting it or something
Didn't know that bridge was that long. Looks like you had beautiful weather going over - might be more fun in a squall! I haven't been over anything bigger than the Golden Gate 25 years ago. Thanks for showing me.
Can anybody explain how the toll tax system works in this case? I am planning to develop a system, and presently exploring few options like OCR, Barcode scanning. Would be grateful for help.

The real traffic does come on the weekends. The traffic is people heading to Ocean City.
