Have a nutsac sling and admin pouch. I keep looking at the satchel and tacsac. Nutsac sells a couple different size sleeves for laptop… wish they included a padded pocket in the satchel.
In my experience it's not the best at standing on its own. You can get it to stand on its own, but a lot depends on the contents of the stachel and how you have them loaded. I've noticed it seemed to standed a little better when it was on the newer side. Now that it's nice and broke in, it seems to be a little less rigid. For me I prefer the broke in feel. I typically use it buy just laying it on its back, so honestly I haven't spent a lot of time trying to get it to stand.

I considered getting the 11" version for carrying my tablet PC, but I'm 5.9ft. tall and that bag would look kinda dinky on me. I better go for 13".
For me the 13” is the perfect size. Unless you have a 15 inch laptop, I think the 13 inch will do you well
