@@braindeveloperdimensional5579 you have 2 choices
1. change your software to CLIP STUDIO PAINT
2. Just watch how I work in this tutorial and try to apply it to your current workflow :)
@@Niccakun I watched your live video, you had to fill colors manually in every frame. It seems very time taking. Can I use enve 2D animation software? It has extension support so I can just automate such tasks. I am looking for better tools right now.
@@braindeveloperdimensional5579I always said If you have a better way. you don't need to follow what I do.
This is just how I do. It's may not best way to do :)
Feel free to use what suit you the best :)
You gotta give it to these animators... this work ain't fast nor easy, especially with something that looks good. These are works from really hard working people with a passion to draw and animate.
Korean in between artists be like
It's really hard. I've been doing it for 6 months now and not even one of my projects are a minute long :(
but it's okay. I'm still a beginner :D
@@mouses_HK Yeah i cannot imagine the amount of work the in between animators must put into one frame, imagine repeating that 500 times in one week, my hands would become paralysed.
I agree- Most animators get paid 80 usd for a piece that takes 12+ hours to complete-
and look how society treats animators (and the like) sigh hoping that they are compensated more in the future for the continuous effort they put on to their works
Someone said that animator is the most difficult to do bcs they need to learn everything (like perspective etc)
I tried doing a meme for the birthday of a friend.
*With no experience, it's almost impossible -*
Noobie Desu
I mean, not only do you have to learn everything, you also need a lot of time to work on it. You need to physically train your body to sit down for multiple hours doing animation. I used to get headaches frequently, but now I usually animate everyday with little to no struggle. Motivation is also what most people struggle with, but with practice, you could draw decently without motivation.
Animation is definitely very difficult but learning perspective is a fundamental part of most visual arts; there's a set of fundamentals for learning shapes, line, color theory, values, form, perspective, etc. that overlaps most fields that require drawing
God is the animator of real life
@@hayapatel_ Im an animator student and I have to learn the perspective too tho
THE VIDEO YOU WERE LOOKING FOR
YEEEEAAAHHH
UH HUHH
Yes.. now i understand what they mean of 'in-betweens'
I don't know how a comment can be so relatable with me
As an aspiring animator, seems like I still have a loooong way to go...
Don’t worry! With great practice comes great reward.
Same
Same and don't worry!
We can all do this!
Welcome to the club 😁👍🏻
Wanna laugh but feel bad (about you say "still have a loooooong waaaaay to go) but i feel bad for laugh it (since i laugh in danganronpa because it little same as the charector from that anime ;-;)
me as a small kid: *nah* they just use simulators or machines
me now: *this is hard!!!*
I'm literally piss with those people who watch anime illegally and complains about bad animation.
to Kids Not Really
To Adults But don't know how hard it is to make an animation i kinda hate them
but the one who already know how hard it is But still complain is One of the Worst
@@christophercahili2788 true
@@Aprianex very true, half of them hates mappa and still bitter about wit switching. Without mappa there'll be no season 4 they were the last resort. Considering the mappa animators only have a limited time and they work very hard on it without rest that they are on the verge of starvation or lack of sleep, these "fans" have disregard how it takes for one company to animate a season especially on a time constraint.
bad animation is usually because animators don't get enough time for doing this good
@@Aprianex *look at the half of dangaronpa fandom* yep, same here

That's why made anime so hard,
@@Kiror0_ for big anime its more like 50 animators
@Jerry Shaw yea i know that
@Jerry Shaw actually pretty hard and intensive. some animators for anime even sleep in their offices because they work so hard overtime so..

LIGHT TABLE IS SUCH A LIFE SAVER OH MY GODDD
sorry for the random comment, but i wanted to ask someone: i noticed in this video that they are moving around the transparent light table images a lot while doing in-betweens. are frames/layers registered to the light table able to be edited in a way that's non-destructive to the original image?
@@rrc3035 i dont think so..? But u can move them i suppose
@@rrc3035 I guess if you make dups just for reference that you then delete for the full animation it could work, that's what I do but there's got to be a more efficient way to do it.
Guys if you are still saying "meh that anime is shit, the animation sucks" My my my.... You are wrong. Pls appreciate the animator's work and be grateful that we have anime. I mean just look at this guy's hard work, about twenty frames for just 5 seconds* . For a average anime is 24 mins and by watching this u will just know how much shit is done to produce it.
Again pls, before you say an anime is shit. Please remind yourself THIS is blood and work.
"This workflow is just overall workflow"
Ah yes, indeed.
ah yes the floor here is made out of floor
@@jeff4890 The table is overall a table.
Now i understood why we had to wait 5 years for aot season 3 and got only 12 episodes
All that efforts for just mere seconds of movements😌 I still have a lot of ways to go😎 thanks for inspiring me
The crazy thing is, how much enjoyment you can get out of those *2* seconds.
Ayo, I knew animation was hard. But not this hard. Props to all the studios that bring us the anime we love.
All animators from beginning to becoming a pro animator. They are always practicing their skill to be better, thinking great ideas, and no. 1!😉 Having a lots of "PATIENCE"

Holy shit i know animating is a very hard and expensive thing but holy shit i never knew that in reality it is way more than i imagined. As someone that cant draw at all i respect artists and animators for their talent and dedication
Nice contents for animation tutorials. May I know that the blue and red line (for shadow and light) are same layer as the black line layer (final character clean up line layer)?
I draw it in same layer. It's easier to adjust line together.
Then separate it later when coloring with my custom autoaction.
I have my old tool in my channel. you can check it.
I plan to releas new tool later when I have some free time next time.

THANKS FOR WORK
Excellent showcase.
Btw, in CSP, you can enable a functioin that lets you bucket fill within vector lineart and automatically fills to the middle of the vector line (to not miss pixels touching the line).
So you can use anti-aliasing in that stage if you want. Or you just switch AA off and later on like shown here. The beauty of vector layers...
Watching this is super motivating.
problem is it's still hard to deal with guide line for shading. fill with middle has some problem when it always fill to middle and when you fill another side of color it will over fill again. that can made 1 pixel different each frame if you don't carefull about it.
It's a bit sadly to change vector line from aa to aa off can't record in autoaction too.
Love it
Thank you so much. 🤍
Thanks for this tutorial
