The version famously used in SpongeBob was composed by 1985 by Hans Haider and was on the vinyl album “Hawaii and South Pacific”. Honolulu March (another famous SpongeBob song) was also on the album. The album, including Aloha Oe, was removed from APM (the music catalog SpongeBob uses) in 2010, but Nicolas Carr (the music editor) has the CD version made in 1991.
