Ah, because 1500m freestyle is all of swimming right? Sarah Sjöström, a Swedish woman (whose dad was my swimming coach coincidentally) holds the most world records on the women's long courses (four seperate records) AND she has more medals than Michael Phelps. Which is why she is considered the GOAT on the women's side. Katie holds two world records and a lot of medals for those two long distances. Long distance also has less competition than the much more popular sprint distances, so not surprising her edge seems so large. Put her in a 50m/100m sprint and she doesn't stand a chance.
Katie is one of my favorite athletes and as a woman who used to swim (I still love it I just don’t do it as a sport) it’s really awesome to see her swim because she just glides.

Idk what we feed out swimmers here in the US, but between Michael Phelps and Katie Ledecky, we've absolutely demolished all standards for swimming. The stupid thing is that I don't even know where to start with figuring out why
Ah, because 1500m freestyle is all of swimming right? Sarah Sjöström, a Swedish woman (whose dad was my swimming coach coincidentally) holds the most world records on the women's long courses (four seperate records) AND she has more medals than Michael Phelps. Which is why she is considered the GOAT on the women's side. Katie holds two world records and a lot of medals for those two long distances. Long distance also has less competition than the much more popular sprint distances, so not surprising her edge seems so large. Put her in a 50m/100m sprint and she doesn't stand a chance.

Women are physically weaker than men if they’re given the best training possible, which Olympic athletes were. You got access to the internet. Instead of jumping to conclusions like a moron, do some simple research about athletes; why they’re separated in genders, and go down that biology rabbit hole about natural hormones and what made men physically stronger than women.
Many athletes who were accused of their unnatural ability to dominate that much, like Ledecky, said those accusations are the biggest compliment they’ve received. Whatever you said, she did her job brilliantly.
