Rick Springfield and Sammy Hagar. 1980's icons forever. Those two guys put out some great music.
Rick and Sammy are long time friends. Sammy even made him a partner in his rum company. They both now own Beach Bar Rum
Sammy wrote and recorded "I've Done Everything For You" but it was a much bigger hit for Rick when he did a cover of it. Sammy asked Rick why his version was such a big hit when his flopped. Rick said it was because he's better looking than Sammy. They had a good laugh over that one.
Rick Springfield is one of the most talented singer/songwriter/musicians there is. So under appreciated by so many!! Sammy is well ...he's Sammy!!! These two together are freaking awesome!
Yeah, Rick is underappreciated, but he wrote a lot of good songs.

Yes Sammy's a musicians musician. He loves music, performing, and ppl. Rick is one of the greats!! Sharing himself with the public is a plus all around. And I just plain love pretty much everything I've heard Rick do!

Cliche as it might sound, I was really hoping Rick and Sammy would do, "I've Done Everything For You". I'm sure they did off camera, or in a longer verison, or at least talked about doing it. But man, to finally get to hear them both on the one song would have been pretty cool.
I saw Sammy live in the mid 80s right after Rick hit it big with it. I think he had a sore spot about the success of it from Rick!! He played the opening and stopped!

My boyfriend recognized Greg Grunberg on drums. I confirmed it and wow how cool that these 3 talented men got together just to play no egos just the desire to play music and be part of a very cool historical musical moment.

I barely recognized Adrian Pasdar in the hat, as they didn't focus on him much. What a fantastic actor! Was hoping to see him play guitar, though. As always, great performance!
Jesse's Girl was such a great song/hit because it had Neil Geraldo's signature all over it!!
Neil contributed to it, but the song was great even on Rick's demo of it. It's a great song... period.

Not sure exact year..but it was a super show! We listened to your stuff in car on the way home..with stars and excitement in our eyes! Lol I understand you were a first pick to play Keith Partridge back in the day..just dis overed that recently..i can see why ! You would have been perfect. Im sorry show was canceled. I have always love PFamily & DC too. You both are fantastic in your own way. I have been a performer / actress my wjole life. I stopped listening to fm radio YEARS ago after the frustration hit the wall. For YEARS a local "RFock" station wouldn't play Rick Springfield because he was pop and a soap actor...THEN the easy listening stations would say he was to hard rock for them to play him so...to hell with all of them and all his critics. "Affair Of The Heart" is my fave by him but I love all his songs. My late wife and I were fortunate enough to have seen him in concert in Denver twice in 2004 and 2005 :)

Rick's 1980s style rhythm guitar tone and crunch on that Fender Mustang is so spot on, a total lost art, and of course, it is because he is one of the investors of it!

@RickSpringfield651 I asked about the song Rick wrote about his own father. The song is called My father’s chair (actually April 24th 1981/MFC). If you were Rick, you would have answered that. 😁 And: Rick would never call me „my dear fan“. So that’s it.

Okay.... General Hospital... we LOVED Dr Noah Drake. I still remember the name of his character and even some of the plot lines. It might be silly, but loved it and then became fans of his music. I finally got to see him at the NYS Fair in 2019. So much fun.
