  • The mighty Murray River ,
Hi again, a vague title I know, but I drove along Northern Victoria crossing into NSW at times and into South Australia.
It was a quick drive ,hot and getting hotter.
At the time I went through there were holidays and many camp grounds on the river were either closed or have 4wd access only.
Lake Bonney in South Australia was great ,I got some nice drone footage there.
I give a brief description of Sir Donald Campbell's water speed record attempt on Lake Bonney. It is a brief summary but what I didn't mention is that he is the only person to hold both the land and water speed records.
Morgan S.A where the Murray River makes a sharp turn South,is where I get some good drone footage of the historic Morgan Wharf, and the car ferry.
Burra S.A I finally get out of the car and walk down the street.
So it was a rushed drive but I think I captured some interesting places.
    Enjoy Bill.

I loved this video. It brought back some wonderful memories of lovely holidays along the Murray with my late husband.
The drone footage was really wonderful, too.

We loved our trip along the Murray last year. I think Goondiwindi has to be one of my favourite town names🤔

I would of stopped in more places but the heat was the issue, and many River side camps are still closed from the flood.Thats a good name, what about Kookynie.

Hi Bill, love your videos. My favourite town name would be Suggan Buggan. Apparently the fishing around there is supposed to be good

Hi there mate. Another great video thank you. How have you found the transition from Tarago to the Mazdaratti? I would imagine fuel figures are similar , is there a little bit more room for you? I had a Mitsubishi express and when I sold it had done close to $350k, with normal maintenance.

Hi mate,I love this car ,it's not a Sprinter or Transit, but there is more room,a full length bed, pull out draws, and the big tyres feel like I'm in a truck, sitting higher than a Tarago, they were great but I don't miss the Tarago, similar fuel 10 litres per 100 km.Solar on roof is great too.All the best Bill.
