2AM is a horror short that I filmed and edited in 2 days total. I shot this with my iPhone 12 Pro Max, using the FiLMiC Pro app, the Moondog Labs Anamorphic Lens and one Godox Light. Enjoy!

The music was perfect for starters. And the whole composition and camera angles where executed really, really well.
I thought that the monster would show up in his bed at the end,but then it spoke so I thought "Oh...nevermind." But then the woman asked,in the doorway, who he was talking to and I literally jumped out of my seat and my stomach dropped.
It was a great "jump scare" if you will.
The lighting added to the effect and you did an amazing job building suspense and uncertainty . Great job.
I'm gonna recommend this to my friends :)
Please continue to make short films (even though a feature length would be cool too 😋)

Perfect timing, a lovely little gift for the Halloween season. Great job Ryan.
As it happens, I’m currently editing my short film remake/reimagining of When a Stranger Calls so I found this extra entertaining, given that the twist is _sort of similar-ish._ (The guy is inside the house etc) Great use of lighting and camera angles, it gave it a really weird and unsettling atmosphere.

Everything was f perfect! Timing at the end of the end credits was so perfect because I thought after a second jump scare appears there.. what program do you use to edit? And you recorded the voice with using a microphone from iPhone ?

I have iphone 13 pro, but I don't know whether I go with cinematic mode or 4k. Which is the best? It always bugs me. Which should I go for? I'm new when it comes to these things 🥺

You got me at the end! so nice 😀, anyway I can see some color banding in Very dark areas, is it because you did shoot on phone?
Great! Yeah there were a few shots that got noisy. Definitely a drawback of shooting on the phone. I only had two days to shoot and edit this one. Given more time I probably would have reshot some things and used more lighting, but then the shots may not have had shadows like I wanted. Thanks for watching! I’ll have a bts video posted soon!
