I was watching your video because this November I will be also working on the arctic circle but in Finland! As a portuguese person, I believe I will miss the sun a lot, so I'm trying to get ready before it happens. Can you tell me how you've been keeping positivity during your days? Thank you so much :)
Hi! Thanks for your comment! Yes, I missed the sun a lot! But it was also really exciting to see it back! It's something we see every day, something normal, but when it disappears for two and a half months, you appreciate it more, and the feeling of seeing it back was amazing! Most of the time I was just doing things I like, like if you have hobbies like painting or reading...things like that. It would be nice if you make a friend to socialize if it's a quiet place, it will help you a lot! And also taking Vitamin D and Magnesium it's quite important (if you're not sure maybe you can ask some locals or a doctor). But yes, that's the way I spent this winter, and let's see how next one is going to be! If you like nature and quite spaces, you will love it for sure. Good luck!!
