I’m kinda of in between with sorority’s because I don’t really want to worry abt them fighting everyday and stuff like that. I wouldn’t do it myself but I think it’s ok if others do it as long as they’ve don’t LOTS of research

It’s definitely not easy. I have a lot of friends who keep them successfully so that have been my main source. It really helps to get advice from people who have done it with success!

I hear 2 different things about sororities: 1) the more the better, so the aggression is evened out and they can’t bully. 2) have only a few in a big area so they can get away from each other.
I did the second option but I had so so so much aggression(but luckily no deaths) should I do the first option? Is the first option even accurate?

Nope, the room they are in is actually very cold and not humid. It’s pretty badly sealed to the outside so that may be a part of it

Hold up how are you filling up your tank when the water source is in the bucket below? For me the water only flows from high to low using a siphon haha but maybe I'm not doing it right.

I use a water pump! It’s a little one I got off amazon but it’s helpful for filling my tanks up so I don’t have to pour water into them

What shelving unit brand are you using to house your aquariums on?

It’s an edsal muscle rack! I also put contact paper over the particle board to protect it from water

Is that spider wood and dragon stones? Is it working ? Beautiful but those should not be used in betta sororities. They tear their fins on it. I’d hate to see you lose a sorority over it. Softer edge hard scapes with no sharp edges is safer for bettas. Good luck.

Yes they are. Neither will cause harm to the fish, especially for females. They don’t have long fines like some male to even tear on the wood and rock. I’ve been using both of these things in many of my betta tanks for a long time with no damaged fins whatsoever
