Grant blames the Forresters for everything. The only reason Rick and Bridget lacked a stable father figure is that Brooke kept keeping Eric away from his children and forcing their half-brother to be their father. Not to mention, after finding out Eric was Bridget's father, she could have reunited with Eric but chose not to.
Because she wanted Ridge
Why should Brooke reunite with Eric, if she doesn't love him??
@@bonniek5331 Brooke knew she didn't love Eric BEFORE she married him. She only married Eric because Ridge did not stop her wedding. Ridge was falling for Taylor and Brooke was not sure where she stood with him. So Eric was her best shot at becoming "Mrs. Forrester".
Brooke's a very selfish person but always cries she is the victim. She has never sacrificed anything for her kids and only does what suits her own agenda - from getting out of the valley to getting Ridge.
And for those who blame Eric for being a predator - Brooke wasnt a child when he pursued her. She was a full-grown woman who had already been in a full blown live-in relationship with the man's son. She should have stayed loyal Eric, but she chose to flirt with Ridge throughout that marriage and even played games to keep Ridge and Taylor apart.
As you said, Brooke didn't love Eric. She used Eric Jr as an excuse to become a Forrester. And 2 years later she tried to use Bridget to get Ridge.

He never cared for them or any of his children really.
He didn’t even say goodbye to them when leaving the costume party.Rick had to call him away from the exit door.

Interesting that all of Stephanie's close friends, and rivals are young women. Yet, she's not close to her own daughters. Wonder it it's a metaphor of her connecting with her younger self, both good and bad.

The children have a father. They have Eric. That is what I don't understand about this. Eric does not spend time with his children.
Grant has lost his mind he wants to adapt Eric's children he is loosing grips to reality he has a very bad effect on Rick and Bridget he is destroying their lives by his unwanted presance

Hunter is married!!! I haven’t watched the rest of this mystery. So, for fun, I get to imagine her being Emma Samms, Finola Hughes or Edie Lehmann. With Ian on the show…were they going for Finola!?! But I think the best choice would have been Edie, so tall and gorgeous. She would have fit right in as a model turned singer-songwriter.
Too bad Maggie, James, and Michael weren't given the longevity they deserved because I really grew tired of Ridge love triangle taking up too much screen time after the first 5yrs of the show. I enjoyed when the stories focused on the other parts of the characters lives such as Macy drinking, Belief, the teen scene, anything outside the partner swapping.

Stephanie has always wondered why Kristen and Felicia resent her, and I think her clear favoritism for Taylor has something to do with it. Must be insulting that your own mother chooses your sister-in-law over you.
True but it started with Stephanie being jealous of Eric showing his two daughters love and attention she of course only cares about Ridge and Thorne when she feels like it and that is to sad
I have that with my mother in law and my sister in law has it with my mum. And we have it with our mothers too. So I totally get the Stephanie-Taylor bond. It's easier when the younger one is traditional, respectful and humble. I'm from Goa in India and this is generally how we are.

Kristen was gone even before Taylor arrived in town.
Felicia moved away before stephanie and Taylor bonded so much.

The show sadly failed to keep the forrester daughters much around. She had a close relationship with both.
They later both reveal why they most of the time stayed away from LA and that had more to do with Eric than with Stephanie.
@@andream5998 In 1987, Kristen made it clear that she couldn't stand her mother, and when Felicia came in 1990, she and Stephanie had a tense relationship too. Even Sally Spectra pointed out in 1994 that Stephanie's daughters couldn't stand her.
@@djervalevy9784 they had problems with her, but they worked it out and got close to her and a good relationship with their mother. When Felicia and Kristen left LA they were closer to Stephanie than to Eric.
It's pretty sad how Taylor's only friend on the show was a woman twice her age who was her on-again/off-again mother-in-law. At least Brooke had Megan in the 2000s.

Vice versa for Stephanie. Where are her friends who are in her age group and demographic (rich), with grown children? Also, why is she closer to Taylor than her on daughters? The latter is a rhetorical question.
