- We bought a rear air suspension assistance from Airide by Puncture Control at the NEC Motorhome Show this year for our Fiat Ducato leaf sprung motorhome.
This vlog shows the fitting of it and our thoughts before and afterwards. We are VERY pleased :)
Also, we had Oko tyre sealant fitted by Puncture Control.

I’m here as we speak while Gary is doing the install on my motorhome. Thank you for the great video, if it wasn’t for you guys this wouldn’t be happening today and I’d be forever putting planks of wood under my motorhome to get it on and off the drive. 😊

Rob fitted (both) the middle of last year before we travelled to Ireland it made such a difference the vehicle was very stable and the puncture control put me completely at ease.
I would advise anyone with a motorhome to get this fitted.

Gary fitted this set up on my burstner a couple of years ago and the difference in ride, cornering , road and interior noise reduction i found amazing, once you find the best setting you won't look back! Would recommend to have fitted.

Hi. Another excellent video. Just on Sunnyside Croft caravan site at Arisaig and our neighbour on the adjoining pitch has the air suspension and self levelling system fitted to his campervan. He gave me a demo and I was very impressed. I will be getting quotes when we get home.

I've got some to fit to mine at some point - just ones that you pump up and leave which should do me. I wouldn't fancy being under the van with just those jacks and I'm aghast at them letting the tyres down like that, they should have done whilst it was still on jacks.
100% right on jacks and tyres!
I fitted the rear assist to my van, but they actually made no difference as already had triple-leaf Extra HD Rear Springs fitted, so to get any lift meant running over max pressure. oh well :(
Genny is fitted with "another brand" of air suspension but on all 3 axles... totally agree with your comments... reduces the road noise... reduces the swing and sway when passing or being passed by lorries. Reduces the roll, one thing we found it made doing some tight corners at a *fair* speed a little hairy.... you have to slow down for them... also love that you can tilt the motorhome to assist to empty tanks completely.....
It is a great set up isn’t it? Yes, we tilted ours to empty the tanks on the next vlog 👍🏻

Just had mine fitted along with upgraded front springs from VB systems. What a difference!!!!! Fitted by a great guy in the North east PDS leisure vehicles in Burnopfield. Brilliant job and can now uprate vehicle weight too 😊

Looks like a good set up. We fitted a similar thing to our old van. Unfortunately to do it on this chassis is pretty expensive so we've not gone for it on this van.

After having it fitted for sometime now, what pressure do you typically run at? I’m still trying to find the sweet spot between comfort and stiffness. Depending on rear axle load lm finding circa 25 psi.
We had ours done at the peterborough show, do you notice the van seems to roll along faster? 100%improvement to our chausson.
We’re very impressed Ray! We were happy with the ride previously for a big vehicle, but it’s another game with the air assisted suspension 👍🏻

Thank you. Yes we informed the insurance company and they charged a £21 admin fee to log it.
Hi just wondering if you know what they increase the rear axle load limit to? Normally a Ducato is at 2000kg I'm sure the guy on the video said 2.8 ton for the pair

I think that might be the maximum the air bags will take but if you ring Gary from the info on the vlog he will tell you.

Does the tyre puncture stuff effect the tpms ?

No mine is working fine but I have the Tyrepal ones so took them off so they could put the sealer in then refitted afterwards.
Is there any reason the compressor can't be mounted in the rear garage?
I think it’s because the gauges and air valves are in the dashboard so it’s close.
Not sure on garage as it’s far away from gauges.

We are having Airide suspension in may how are you getting on with yours is it worth it
Definitely! We are really pleased with it. We can lift up to get on the ferry so we no longer scrape the bike rack 🤣 We also use it regularly to level the van instead of using ramps. Say hi to Gary for us 👍🏻
