Hang in there, Doc. Out here in the west, it gets so smoky you can’t see the back of the Wal-Mart from the front because it gets into everything/everywhere. It won’t last forever, even though sometimes it feels like it, especially during a coughing fit. I would suggest the purple label 3M furnace filter tied to the back of a box fan to help filter the air. It’s amazing how gross the filter gets in only a few days during fire season, even with allergen filters on our house’s air system. When the left/right shoulder section of the video was happening, hubby says, “Where’s your rock, Doc?” He did basic at Fort Knox back in the early 90s. We look forward to your videos, and love Peeta’s visits.
I always appreciate when you talk military. My basic was 89 and was in the Army in the 90’s / 2000’s so a lot of good memories. I enjoy the reminder of the “old days” 🙃 I appreciate your stories and this a fun box !
That shotgun shell pouch could be used as a spice wallet he-he. I understand purpose of choil, but I think in this case it’s made in a rather dumb way. There are ways to add it to knife of same size without stealing so much of useful part of the blade. Hope the air clears for you soon.
decent box overall, i REALLY like that rifle sling, probably my favorite thing in the box honestly. everything in the box this month seemed decent quality, and all useful items
Overall value of boxes has been questionnable for some time. MSRP prices tend to be on the high side and can often be found individually at much lower prices.
I got a CZcamsr freind from newfoundland who is one of the only Canadian who wouldn't think that patch is crap fluff.he doesn't fly the maple leaf.he flys the stars and stripes

It really depends what you are looking for. Going Gear EDC Club is my go-to EDC sub. For just knives, Monthly Knife Club Onyx. For outdoors stuff I still lean a bit towards the Barrel & Blade Level 2 box.
I liked the look of the Gerber up until you opened it up. Then I saw how small it was and what the blade was made of. Kinda disappointing is about all you can say.
Personally, I agree with your review for the most part, but the bag, sling, and pouch aren’t the quality or usefulness that I’d prefer, so they’re undesirable for me. I’d rather NOT order the box at that price, and put the entire $ into a decent, more desirable knife (or better tactical bag) Thanks for the review! 👍🏼

Yep...'78 Ft. Dix basic...all our gear was od and mostly Vietnam leftovers along with some REALLY old wool shirts from ????
In the 80s it was woodland pattern all the way but still lots of wool them too. We had brown wool sweaters and the brown t shirts . Good times
