so glad this was filmed, it was absolute chaos--fun to see it now
Filmed in color (or colour as it may be....youtube is saying it is misspelled here btw), too!!
There is a strict order in this chaos: best musicians of all human history doing their best for the best audience any performers can only dream of in the best times that have passed forever...
the band ever there will never be another like them.I was 14 in 1964. the best days of my life
you're very lucky..coz I was born in 1995 only
how are sir? god bless and stay healthy
Same with me, and although I suppose it would be true to say that like you, no doubt, our taste in music has widened since those days, it is true to say they were stunningly exciting to see and to hear, and, to only a slightly lesser degree, still are. There was absolutely nothing like them or their sound on the planet. I remember the wrestling match I had with my conscience as to whether I should continue to be a huge fan of Cliff Richard and the Shadows, (who I unequivocally worshiped up until this point), or should I throw my loyalty and my pocket money behind The Beatles. It was a losing battle for Cliff I am almost ashamed to say...I had been so faithful, but there was really no contest. Even at this age I have no trouble admitting it....at all.
@WILD BILL U earned a dislike good job, get demonitized!
I born in 1961, but still I fell in love with their music for life, after hearing them on the radio and seeing them on television.
i like the way ringo plays the drums
He is playing them left handed.
The Beatles changed history and the times, bringing more of the world together, than any world leader ever could. They were a real change for humanity at a most critical time.
Every beatles concert is memorable. Something meaningful that you won’t easily forget.
No band will ever have this effect on people ever again...

Richard Hall You wouldn't be able to listen to the concert amidst all the screams.

That is what they say about why the Beatles & why they couldn’t play anymore.
if you haven’t already seen it before,

@EnnuiVision Bacause of latex . Plastic macca.
@EnnuiVision That latex and fillers work Is now more than 50 years old. "Paul" Is also ginger. Look at his son. He Is same "Vivian Stanshall".
No other musical group since the Beatles has been able to hold a candle to them. They were so extraordinary as songwriters, musicians and singers. No other group since has sold as many albums, has had as many number one hits and has influenced popular culture like the Beatles.
@EnnuiVision they are plenty more influential bands not only your own favorite band like led zeppelin, the who so both of them are tied being influential in the world no need for competition or some comparison in terms of how they influence others music
Garth Brooks sad to say has broken a few Beatle records. I know it sucks but its true, its hard to admit.
Li’l NasX?
Pink Floyd was better.
@@Gerguzalbutzelnikoskech - Better for whom? When it comes to record sales and cultural impact, the Beatles were in a class by themselves. No other group could ever compete. While there is no doubt that Pink Floyd was a great group, it could never hold a candle with the Beatles.
What a crazy time.

Why?
Poor mom - got dragged to the Beatles concert!
i think she is on her mobile lol
Frightening to think that most of those sweet young girls are now grannies in their 70s.
Don't be surprised, if a few of them, are now great-grandmothers as well.
They had their youth as we all did. It went all too fast.
And possibly hipsters still like my mum .
@EnnuiVision It's not that long ago .They would be in there late 60's probably .
Why is it always so frightening to think of these women as grandmothers and probably dead? Two of the boys are grandfathers and two are dead-why is that not disgusting to anyone? Misogyny at its finest.
There was this thing about two of them calmly walking up to one mike singing what they had to and then calmly
walking away, the Beatle singing lead just stayed at one mike looking straight ahead. And the fact that Paul was left handed, made it look like everything just fit together.
I remember seeing that the first time I saw them and there was just something so neat and cool about that.
But it dawned on me this wasn't something anyone had ever done before. Just doing that simple bit of stage blocking
was one thing that made them the Beatles what they were.
You are lucky, soooo lucky to have witnessed them. They are like no other. On a league of their own.
A few years later everyone is wondering "why don't they perform live?" Because all you do is scream instead of listening to the damn music!
Angeelo Gov a few years later, they broke up 😃
And then came Yoko Oh-No
and 2 of them are dead.
@EnnuiVision Kidding? The two best of them.
WILD BILL wait, he’s not in hell
Oh my! I remember seeing this (disappointed that it was all of 6 minutes) at a drive in theater in 1964. It was in color, which was special them. Thank you for sharing.
You was there?

I would do the same if I were him
What a treasure it is to see this. Still puts my heart in my throat, and now tears in my eyes remembering the incredible early days of the Beatles. Once in a lifetime....no - MANY lifetimes phenomenon!
They were all between 20 to 23 years old at this time and still barely noticed in America. That's astounding.
I grow up with Beatles music, they are part of my life
Omg Paul !!!!!!
Lovely lads. So natural.
The best band I have ever heard!
I would of grabbed the nearest megaphone and just scream at the top of my lungs, "Will you all just shut up and actually listen to the music?!" But I digress, because if I was a teenager in the mid-1960's, I would probably be screaming my head off.
One of the reasons the Beatles stopped performing live. No one could hear the music, so why bother?
Justin Shea John actually shouted on the mic "shut up!!" a lot of times because of that haha
If you wanted to hear them you played their records...
It’s a very professional performance considering it must’ve been mind numbing after a while, playing music that no one can hear?
the girls screamed loudest, but the blokes seemed to love them, too.
That's what changed music forever!!!
Living the dream. Reliving my youth.
Trully what separates them from the other groups of the 60's like stones, dace clark, herman hermits, hollies many of them besides from the music..its their looks and tremendous charisma..
It's because they were the first in everything; everyone else blossomed from their tree, originally.
The music journey would not have been the same without them.
sandra greenwood
Well said Sandra look at what it was before them, pretty boring and groups tried to keep up and they kept evolving.
A sound unique to the 4 young lads. The Beatles!
they are amazing
You still can feel the electricity.
I saw the Beatles on tour June 1963 at Woolwich London, also on the bill Roy Orbison ! It was a great experience but the screaming took away total pleasure.
A really amazing video. Feel for the poor woman holding her ears. Must have been hell on earth if you weren't doing any screaming.
It can't be worse than a dwarf parrots shriek!
HAHAHAHHA That part is really funny
0:58 Ringo is looking at George the same way I would do...😍
Check out George's guitar! Beautiful!
He was beautiful ❤️
In that time... girls screamed for something that worth it.
Thanks for putting this up - I love the Beatles!!
There so adorable
I bet at least one time traveller is in that crowd.
@rock2dream
Sorry, but I disagree with your first sentence... they were ridiculously talented. I've 'studied' many of their songs; the chord progressions, the solos, the fills, the lyrics, and to be quite honest, it is genius. Even their early 'pop' stuff was pretty darn complex for a band like them. I don't mean to argue, just my opinion.
And you are completely right about that. I read an article on Wikipedia about how John wrote "This Boy" and it's an extremely complicated song. No other group in modern popular music ever had the same level of talent than in that band.
Lennon blows the roof offffff.

Nice remastering job. I got me a video of this that I bought at K-Mart, but all they faces are orange on it!
This was originally filmed in widescreen, making it the only footage of them in Widescreen, yet it's chopped to 4:3 Format
Those people who don't dig the The Beatles are either jealous or killjoys. Long Live The Beatles!!! Yebah!!!
I went to see them this year on August 18 at Llandudno Odeon. I was 3!

it's weird to think how half or more of that audience is now past their 70's...
saying they took the world storm is kind of underestimating it...
1 dislike......Bieber?
They must really have found some kind of pitch that activated the crying-hormone in girls...
@RS1Comedy1Vids First off all, thanks for being calm and respectable. Maybe I just haven't listened enough to the Beatles (their music just doesn't do it for me), but maybe in some of my theory classes I'll check out how interesting you and others say. I still have to stand by my idea that they received so much fame because the public needed them and the songs. They were the first 'boy-band' playing songs that caused a lot of controversy.
@PhantomCl0ud that's actually why they stopped touring - all of them, especially George, were getting really fed up of all the screaming, as it meant you couldn't even hear the music
That's november 20 1963. The second LP's release was 2 days later.
I like Ringo Starr when he Narrated of Thomas Gets Tricked & Other Stories, Trouble for Thomas & Other Stories, A Cow on the Line & Other Thomas the Tank Engine Stories & Diesel's Devious Deed & Other Thomas the Tank Engine Stories book by Random House books.
@Beatleshell True. And they have my respect for those reasons.
*Twist and shout!!♫♪*
every time I look anthem I simile! especially John !
If they were 16 back in 1963 and it's now 2011, that make them 65...all those "girls" are now grandmothers
My sister saw them in Nottingham and they were second billing to Roy Orbison !
Look, if I were a girl at that time period, I would literally scream so wildly when I get to their earlier concerts, really
if this was 2011, people wouldn't be calmly walking through the door.....
Jesus Christ, all the screams for "RINGOOOOOOOOOOO!!"
Wish they had sung, say "Please Please Me"
Please please me was the worlds first hevay rock hard rock song

Them girls are hysterical!!😅😂🤣
@starncat It's the intro of From Me To You ;)
Lennon's mic was way louder than Paul's. He wanted to show that he was the leader

@4:05 It just makes me laugh 😂 this is the first time I saw a girl in a Beatles' concert quite literally digging her fingers to her ears because of the constant screaming of the other girls around her.
I felt sad for her here, although, hope she is alive and had a great family/great life, anyway.
That would be me tbh 😂
It's called "From Me To You"
1:33 let’s talk about John in this suit
My generation, but I never understood the girls screaming. Still don't. But, I sure do miss those days.

John Lennon John Lennon John Lennon
My favorite character, Roxie Shayne. Who remembers her cool fringe suede jacket? 😉
What a sound mix for "She Loves You"... it's 70-80% John in the mix. Negligible drums and lead guitar and no bass. But nice to have it in this quality.
1:20 - all nice old ladies now :-(
Someone from that decade explain to me why so many people screamen in extasis ??? I get happy in a concern i dance and some times i sing. But no screaming before ... during...after. what was going on ????
Francisco Garcia the girls screamed cos they wanted the Beatles but knew that they couldn't reach and marry them😊at least I would scream because of that or I guess I would just cry my eyes the hell out. P. S . I' m 36😝
