I appreciate so much that you’re showing the discomfort and pain that can come with cervix checks and placing induction meds at the cervix. I really struggled with my first baby with those and you’re the first person I’ve seen that has shown that side of labor and delivery. Thank you for normalizing that part! ♥️
I wish birth classes and labor coaches and such would talk about that more often! All that’s ever talked about is how to get through contractions, which is helpful, but not the only needed thing!
It was super uncomfortable getting checked I limited the amount of times they checked me

i completely agree! cervical checks and having the cytotec placed were so painful, it's definitely something i wasn't expecting
I loved getting induced actually and didn’t think getting the Cytotec was that bad.. but everyone is different

Iʻve been watching your entire pregnancy journey with baby girl and seeing this moment brought me to TEARS. When she first started crying I lost it (the pregnancy hormones are raging LOL.) This was the most realistic birth vlog I’ve seen! Thank you for showing all the depths of labor and delivery and all the twists and unexpected turns that always come up. I was induced with my first and it went a lot like this, it wasn’t the dream I hoped for so I refused induction with my second and I had a much better experience! I am pro do whatever the f you want but I agree that induction is just not where it’s at!, I wish more mamas could watch videos like this and realize how hard induction really is. You did so well!! Congratulations!!

Almost 32 weeks pregnant and binge watching birth vlogs, I know I still have awhile to go but these videos give me so much encouragement to just fight through the rest of pregnancy and enjoy the time she’s in my belly as much as possible❤️
I am a labor and delivery nurse and I feel like so many people can relate to your feelings about induction. I have so many new parents come in not knowing how long an induction can truly take. It is often disheartening and frustrating for them. I wish there was more education on the induction process during outpatient visits so people can make the best decision for themselves. Congratulations on your little girl! Thank you for sharing your experience.

😍 SHES SO BEAUTIFUL CONGRATS!! HOPE YOU SEE THIS!!! I was really excited to watch this vlog! My due date was April 8th and on march 28th I tried the midwives brew completely thinking It wouldn’t work but sure enough it sent me into labor 4 hours later. I was 4 to 5 cm dilated when I got to the hospital labored all day and had my baby boy at 9:11pm on March 29th 💙 he was also supposedly a really big baby with a really big head but ended up coming out at 6 lbs 4 oz.

I found your channel a couple months ago after stumbling on your birth vlog with Rocky. I was looking into birth vlogs because I had found out I was pregnant with my first child. I felt like I was watching my delivery. I had to go through this same induction process and my uterus was also still tilted back. I was in there for 2 days while they tried to induce me. It was crazy. I totally feel you with all that discomfort/pain. Props to you being able to stand the checks, with my uterus pointing the wrong direction I was screaming every time. I finally told them to give me an epidural too, and the process sped up so fast. My daughter was born just 3 hours later. Congratulations on your beautiful baby girl!
How crazy how similar our experiences were 😭 inductions suck. 😭
So happy for you guys!! I started crying when you were stuck at 3 on the vaginal pill. I was also induced with my son and I was stuck at a 1 after all four doses. It was so hard to go through that having contractions that are 2 minutes apart the entire time. I also got the epidural and was able to progress once my body could relax. You did so great!! She is beautiful 🥺🥺 and as long as you tell her how beautiful she is, she’ll learn to love her beauty mark 🤍 I have a fairly large birthmark on my neck and tons of kids would make fun of me saying it was a hickey. If my parents protected me instead of also making fun of it, I’m sure I would’ve embraced it more. You’re a great mom and I know she’ll be so confident because of you!
