I'm going to be wearing this for the rest of my life. they tied my tendons and repaired some nerves. I'm only 32 and athletic 😢 pray for me
Hope things are looking up.
@@Meltiqueful thank you , I'm walking alot better now, I have a few kinks. But nothing to strenuous
@@officialgoku5259 I'm very glad! I fractured my ankle and I'm now wearing a boot. It's so uncomfortable! Hopefully, it will heal quickly.
@@Meltiqueful yes I hate that boot. I definitely understand what you mean. Thank you and I pray you heal in a speedy fashion as well. It's nothing like being able to walk normal.
@@officialgoku5259 yes, and we take it so much for granted! Thanks so much for the prayers.
Man this sucks not be able to do my cardio and physical activity. I have a fracture on my fibula ankle
I just got a hairline fracture in the exact same place I’m in so much pain I’m hoping it gets better from here
thanks for the video, there's not much out there for information on this boot.

@@aracelirosales7328 how long was your recovery? I’m a month after my accident with 3 more weeks in a cast.
I have just broke my ankle and was given this boot with crutches and not a chance I can apply that much weight or even walk or it for that matter
Started using one of these boots today. Recovering from a fractured Tibia. Have to say the pain is pretty bad, im not convinced I should be putting weight on it, but doctors orders.. Hopefully it will ease.
How was it in the beginning woth the walking boot on, i too had a tiboa fracture and only tpdag got a walking boot?
@@sharminbashir9790 it was agony at the start. Very unsteady. I wasn't sure if I was ready for the boot so I was very cautious. But after a couple of weeks it got easier the weight bearing wasn't as bad and you get used to it. The beginning is scary as it's painful and there is a fear of Ambi ready for this am I going to cause more damage. But after a week or two it gets a lot better.
@@Ed-ye3gt We are in the same boat and it's good to hear an echo of my own experience. We will get through this and see better times again.
hello,I'm type1 diabetic and I broken my tibia bone Dr put in leg 4screw and 1rod I'm scary I will be fine will I heal? diabet made me scary. thank you
i need this 😔
I have got one today. Damaged the ankle bone and the tendon. 🤦🏼♀️
Does it matter if you toes set 2in back inside the boot
The only thing I see that is different from my doctor and instructions is your suppose to start with the straps from foot up the leg.
Even the manual that comes with it says so. It also seems more intuitive to start with the foot.
Thanks a lot
I need this boot immediately
I just received mine last Wednesday and was told I'd probably need 6-8 weeks recovery time. It's only been 4 days but I'm already finding being this limited to be really annoying. This is going to be a loooong 8 weeks.
Does this boots have steel atraps at side
Hello.. I have a9 weeks old fractured lines on my calcaneal can i use this to drive motorcycle scooter?
Yeah if you want to break it worse and other parts of your body and bike
This was me today ahahahha im walking again!!! And without stupid bloody crutches bruh!
Lol I'm in the exact same position. Got the cast taken off today and this thing put on.
@@rinleez my back is killing me from walking in mine 🤷🏻♀️ I even tried a clog on the other foot and that helps, just not enough.
@@Last337 Yeah, my hip on the "healthy" side is taking a big hit when I go for a longer walk. It's definitely not great to walk longer distances, but it's better than crutches for sure. Just a few more weeks, hopefully...
If you dance you'll probably win people thinking you got those moves
How are yal feeling? Got Brostrom repair and first 2 days out of cast so far I feel way too much pain to put pressure on heel. Is bearable with crutches...Hope youre all good
How much it cost pls let me know
What is the cost of ankle boot in indian rupees
Donde puedo conseguir una para mi sobrino quiero una bota alta
LOL so I guess we're supposed to go to the foot doctor every time we want to put this on right, cuz it's almost impossible to put it on right by yourself especially if you're old fat short arms bad back and your hands hurt, the straps are too short the buckles are too narrow, the ones I have the buckles on the outside instead of the inside so you can actually see what you're doing, trying to find a video of somebody actually put one on along by themselves it's only going to be young skinny athletic agile with long arms.
Wowww real. Ente.. No es fácil tengo 67 y me fracture el 5 metatatarsiano... Y ya uso la bota como 5 días y real. Ente me ayuda mucho que al caminar apoyo en talón.. Y no me duele el lugar fracturado

Too big boy to do nothing.. cant even drive my car. It soo wide 😂
Do you have to wear this in bed
Yes. I had to wear mine for 6 weeks non weight bearing. So yes, I'd the Dr says wear it all the time the mean bedtime also. Remove for bathing.
Depends on the extent of damage and the reason you're wearing the boot. Sometimes you DO have to sleep with it on, removing it only to shower and when/if you I've it. Other times the doctor just has you wear it during the day. Some people need to have it on at all times, even during a shower. Just like a plaster cast stays on 24/7. It differs every time.
Kivil
He should have a sock on, gross
I'm sure for the purposes of the video and seeing where the foot is placed doing it barefoot worked out better
