- Isn't a handmade Christmas ornament so much fun to make? For this tutorial, we will be making my own pattern for this hexagon Christmas ornament! This free pattern is easy and fun!

This is darling. I make ornaments each year with my 3 grandsons for their tree & mine. I think these will be simple enough for the youngest one (he's 10) to do.I'll just do the sewing for him.

I almost bought a set of hexis, but thought, nah, i probably wont use them. Changed my mind, you did. I make hexis while watching tv. I have seen other quilted ornaments, but these are so much easier! Thanks!!!😁

What a great pattern! I just made a few.. adorable! I do have one suggestion, I put a small piece of masking tape on the templates and used a marker to number them .. worked like a charm!

Thank you! So happy you love them! I get a lot of questions about my sewing desk. I wish I could tell you how to get one! I got mine when I bought my machine. It was a bundle promotion with Janome through the sewing machine shop. It doesn't have a name on it, but I believe it is made by Janome. I wish I had more information for you (and for others). I also wish I had stock in the company because I could have sold these over and over! LOL! I purchased my machine at Blaine Sewing Machine Center in Rhode Island, if that helps.
