BRICKLAYING Pic and Dip Action! Thumb in the Perforation Demo 2nd Half 😀🧱

Here is a vid showing a couple of methods of laying that I use day in day out. The first is the hurl and propel method I have covered in some previous vids slightly different this time as the thumb is in the perforation. I pic up enough mortar for 2 bricks along with the first brick then go for the 2nd brick . .. repeat.
The second half of the wall I switch to a slightly quirky method which I like.
I got into it because it gets 100% full joints every time and you can usually clean of excess with one swipe.
It is not a technique I use all the time but it is really good when you want absolutely full joints. I’ll keep trying new methods … I might come up with a belta one day!
The thumb in the hole grip is also really good. Easy on your wrist. No pinging the line because your thumb is out of the way and you can even use your fingers at the back to check half bond !
