  • Watch this video before buying the 2015 Hyundai Sonata Sport. This Sonata in the 2.0t Sport limited trim has a lot of techs to offer and has some nice features. I talked about reliability and common issues. I did a full review of the interior, exterior, features, as well as driving impressions. I measured 0-60 acceleration time.

The radar sensor was incorporated into the Hyundai H badge in the 2018 refresh

Is this 2.0t engine also get lifetime warranty?
Also, do you recommend limited trim?
I’m considering radar adaptive cruise control is working good or not..

Not all engines have lifetime warranty. This particular car did because of the reasons explained in the video. Adaptive cruise works well and helps on longer trips. But it’s not Tesla level smart, obviously.

      @@AccentOnCars I’ve owned 2015 2.4 engine and it’s covered!! :)
And now I’m considering to buy 2017 santafe sport 2.0t.
      Thanks!

Generally speaking, Hyundai gives much longer power train warranty than most manufacturers.

Did I miss it, or you didn’t use the cruise control at all? It would’ve been nice to see it in action, considering it’s adaptive.

I might have missed it, but it worked quite well. Not Tesla level, but pretty good.

Nic, make sure you look up the reviews on the GDI engines. It’s horrendous with the engine failing around 80-120K Miles. I own a Sonata 2.0T Limited and my friend does too. His Sonata crapped out at 85K miles. I’m about to sell mine with all of these terrible GDI engines made by Hyundai and Kia (Korean companies).

And a few mechanics told me GDI engines are trash.
