    Great video and congrats on the podium finish riding Ryan's TM. We hear that he put on a good show down there. The TM is a very unique bike with a distinct sound. Wish you'd've been able to ride back to back with the stock carb to better understand how the SmartCarb affects the TM's engine and power characteristics, but maybe another time. One thing to watch out for is the 20-21 250-300 2 strokes (no way of knowing if the 22s do it yet) have an issue on start up where they will have no power until you get a fair amount of rpms, like holding it 1/3 open with the clutch in. It can be fixed with a remap or making a switch to keep the powervalve controller on so it doesnt affect you when you stall or take a small break. Sherco has electronic power valve. How does it compare to the TM?

    • @IRCTireUSAMoto
      @IRCTireUSAMoto  Před 2 lety +3

      Sherco has a very luggable bottom end. The TM is much more lively feel. It's a blast to ride and with some adjustments I'm sure it could lug just as well.

    Cool bike, love the rims too, I realize most people
    see Black Rims as the ultimate, I see them as yuk..
    Why not just dip your bike in tar and call it a day.

    Does no one else see a Honda frame and swing arm? These are still only 5 speeds. It looks like a Japanese bike with a button.

      No. The bolts are recessed into the triple clamps, so no visible bolt heads.

    We’ve got everything condition under the sun on our island, but they hate dirtbikes here. Could be absolute paradise, but I’ll stop there to avoid starting a political ideology war.
    Sounds like you need a 300SX with a 36mm Keihin, a 9mm master cylinder, and a KYB conversion. Haha! TM has always made nice machines.

    I am glad you did a TM test ride, BUT WHY DO EVERY ONE HAS TO COMPARE IT TO A PUMPKIN. I hate that. If you were going to do a comparison ride, then great. Just tell us what you like and what you dislike about the machine. If you want to suggest what YOU would change, great. But leave the comparison out of it. PS, Its not a GREAT PUMPKIN Chuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      It's like a Honda but different. I think it's common for aluminum frames to have a similar more ridged feel. I'd say this is the least ridged of the bunch but honestly still ridged.
