That Portland Trailblazers championship run was magical. They upset OKC in seven then upset the number one seed then upset the MVP KD and Dwight Howard. Portland Trailblazers title run was things people dream of. It’s like Adrain Dantley and Celtics title run in 1984.

Side note: It's crazy how stacked Cleveland's starting 5 is. I think a question that hasn't really been discussed with this series yet is 'Who was the best TEAM of this sim?' Cleveland might have the best 5, but MJ's championship teams with Hakeem were nasty, Showtime Suns had a great roster, '05-06 Raptors might've been the most dominant. It's an interesting debate

That Portland title run was amazing to watch. An incredible underdog run capped off with Arron Afflalo hitting one of the most clutch shots in league history, and Vince Carter finally getting his elusive ring, in addition to a well deserved Finals MVP. So happy to see him win before he retires.
The Cleveland team without Lebron is good enough to win a title. Having him puts them in the all time great teams position. They would probably have one championship but with Lebron being there it’s a repeat of what he did with the Heat and Cavs in the 2010s.

Another great video! A few things I noticed once Lebron tied it up with those 6 Regular Season MVPS it felt like the game started to hold him back from getting that 7th and Record setting Regular Season MVP which is very funny. And also we talked about Moses Malone taking him time to get a title that we didn’t even realize the story of Vince Carter playing out during the resim.
Great comment! It’s really interesting how Magic, Kobe and LeBron couldn’t get a 7th MVP even after having great years.
Finally the blazers won for first time since they were created in 1970. Vince Carter is the greatest blazer of all time followed closely by Luol Deng.

Michael Carter-Williams won ROY that year irl instead of Giannis in the sim. Bucks ended up trading for him that very next season and he was terrible. Bucks getting Middleton and Giannis again is a beautiful thing

I complement the Pacers for finally making progress towards maybe getting their first title ever, and what do they do? They lose one of their key players in free agency, and then get the worst record in the league, and *then* miss out on Giannis because they traded their pick away to Orlando. So it's back to square one for Indiana. How do you end up being even worse in the re-sim than in real life lol

Yeah LeBron is the goat of this sim now and really don’t see anybody topping him with the time remaining in the sim. This Cavs team isn’t the most talented team of all time in this sim but it might be the best built team around a superstar since Magics Suns run. People forget that Blake Griffin was a good to great stretch 4 in his prime, Lowry is a good facilitator that takes the ball handling load off Bron, Reddick is a good shooter from 3, and Cousins could extend the floor also.
Ya this is such a perfect team for LeBron. Every other Top player in this sim had an all time great. LeBron has a really good team around him. Cousins might end up becoming an all time great in this sim but he’s too young right now
Id say he’s at least co #1 at this point , but I’d say this cavs team is the most talented “team” of all time in this sim
