Thanks Dave for this fantastic review and for everyone who has checked out the VR experience! A quick note to mention that the build has now been updated to version 1.0.2, available for download from the Project LIVE website. This addresses several of Dave's suggestions from both Part 1 and Part 2, and also has several bug fixes. Keep an eye on our website for more updates and new features to be added soon!
Looks pretty sick!
flinders university palaeontology student here. this is awesome. pretty wild that a game has been made in our national reserve and I'm glad you guys are focusing on this area and time period that is generally not commonly known. if anyone plans to visit Australia and is interested in the Ediacaran fauna, I recommend going to the south Australian museum in Adelaide city. there's a room completely dedicated to these discoveries and has some good fossils to look at. - (also side note, pretty funny that professor flint is in this game since he's a bit of a local celebrity around)
Gorgeous footage and excellent scientific explanations (both by the narrator and our host), but I had to watch it in pieces because the movement kept giving me a headache. It would probably be much easier if I had a headset on instead of watching a video of someone looking around with their headset
"Secretly" an ediacaran fanboy
for us may induce a bit of motion sickness
Also, multiple pgn videos in one week!
