Fun fact: the L1’s trains are wider than the other lines. (Iberian Gauge)
I guess I'm quite off topic but does anybody know of a good place to watch new tv shows online?

My favorite station in Barcelona is Vilapicina L5
I vaguely remember a transfer tunnel panelled with wood. Do you know which station this might be?
Maybe It's just a false memory.
Do you mean a station in Barcelona? Did you visit the station yourself or do you remember it from a CZcams video?
@@MetroCheck Yes, I visited Barcelona in 2011. For some reason the metro didn't impress me much, which frustrates me now. I just remember almost being robbed and these wooden panels.
Oh ok... I have only seen about 25% of the metro stations in Barcelona yet, so if there's a tunnel with wooden panels, it's still waiting for a visit from me. 🙂
But perhaps someone else who's reading these comments can help out with the station name...
I just uploaded a video of Can Boixeres - so far the only station panelled with wood in Barcelona that I could find... Perhaps this is the station you mean?🙂
Well, it was a transfer corridor, so it's very easy to miss. I think it was between line 8 and some other line but I don't remember which one.
It sure looked like the wooden panels in the video you uploaded!
Espanya
Barcelona is great, but its' metro is definetely one of the ugliest and most distasteful I have ever been to. Such a contrast with the rich, eclectic architecture outside.
...but it's not as ugly as the metro in Milan (I hope no one from Milan is reading this) 🙂
@@MetroCheck Well, but in Milan, at least they are more coherent.
In BCN, on the corridors, you have series of dreadful tiles , one after another.
And there are a few stations (Centrale and Loreto If I remember correctly) that were refurbished and look much better :)
I agree 50%
Barcelona metro’s old stations are boring, true. But if you for example visit any station of the L5 you will see it’s much more modern (except Can Boixeres).
But not ugly as new York's or any other American city 🙂
Well, it does its propose
