- Today's video is the second in my weekly food diary series, and was originally inspired by Mina Rome because I love her videos and she recently made a "Everything I eat in a week realistic and easy" video, which was a great insight into easy vegan options. I eat a lot of food that I have meal prepped, along with foods I can throw together, and more luxurious and time consuming plant based meals on the weekend!

While I'm not vegan, I so appreciate seeing what you cook as it inspires me to eat more plant-based foods that taste delicious. ❤
Beautiful and calming! But most of all, thank you for showing a realistic week of food! Sometimes it's a nourishing salad, and sometimes it's a bowl of ice cream. Loved it!
Need that bread recipe!
thank you for showing healthy portion sizes!
oh, i really need the recipe fot that bread! 😍
I absolutely loved this video! Totally agree about fresh produce. I get almost all my fruit and veg from my CSA or my local farmers markets these day. I think I’m team both for nectarines and peaches as long as they’re ripe! Also funny thing, people used to say, “Like Scooby Doo?” when I introduced myself as Daphne, and now they say, “Like Bridgerton?” Haha. Ahhh, culture.
i just started getting my fruit at my local farmers market and im so surprised how cheap and better tasting it is then supermarket fruit! 😋
It's been really hot here in the Texas Panhandle that my husband and I have been getting up at 4:00am. We have a Boxer/Pitbull mix that we walk before the sun comes out. The 70s and 80s are way more tolerable at this time of day. Most days we have the whole park to ourselves and can let our dog off leash to run around. The peace and quiet are really nice.
Sounds wonderful. Me and my dobes get out early or late. ☺
Our truck is packed… we are about to start driving… it’s a two day driving marathon to get to Vancouver for our nephew’s wedding. Whilst I know I will love everything about this long-awaited summer trip, I know I will miss all the amazing vegan food that you have inspired me to make. Trips are all about a break in our regular routines, it’s so refreshing to see and do new things. With that said… I think I’m already looking forward to coming home and cooking up some of these delicious dishes!! As per ushe, thanks so much for the kitchen inspo Immy!! 💦🌎Ⓜary💕🌿
I'm team both. I love both peaches and nectarines. I would love to know your bread recipe. It looked delicious and easy to make!
I'm usually team both too but this year I find myself leaning towards nectarines
Your garden is very inspiring. I've been stuck with what to cook lately so this was nice meal inspo and a reminder to eat more fresh fruits and veg
Hey Immy, lovely video! Could you share the recipe for the creamy potato salad dressing?
Team nectarine 🍑 for sure! Loved this video Immy, so well shot and edited. Your food content is just beyond wonderful.
"Just to be safe, we're gonna watch a rom com." Lol! perfect. I am team peach! I don't know why, but I love the fuzzy skin so much. When I eat a nectarine, it just feels like an upsettingly naked peach.
I'm very much not a green lentil person - but the Minimalist Baker Lentil and Mushroom stew changed my mind! It's SO good!
Loved the video as usua! I was just wondering, if we will see a summer food prep this year! Literally they are the best of all! Sending love and positivity!
I love your videos!!! Really appreciate the way you show healthy portion sizes and talk about normal things like cravings. Great video
Absolutely loved this video. Keeping me company on a lonely morning, now also a morning of bread baking! Thanks for the inspiration 💕
Such inspiring videos. You really inspire me in wanting to learn more about how to grow my own food, how to worship and value it more. So thanks for that 😊
Lovely video! You have such a calming spirit and you inspire me to eat healthy balanced meals as well as experimenting with what is available. Would you mind sharing that dressing that you added to the silken tofu and cucumber salad? That was right up my alley 🙃
yesss! i love watching a week of food vids! i just find they're so realistic and loved watching what you actually turn to day by day
This video totally made me hungry! And I just had dinner! Sooo many good ideas, even the weird ones seem delish! It really looks like you had a nice time (in spite of the heat).
So calming
I really enjoyed that style of video. It was authentic and calm. I like to get inspiration from other people in terms of cooking. And I highly resonated with you being honest and sharing the good and not so good versions of your meal creations. Thanks a lot! 😊
Love your garden vegetables. They look great.
This video is so beautiful, I’ve watched and rewatched this so many times. It’s perfect inspiration and company when I’m cooking ☺️
I LOVED this video! Your humorous side came out to play 😎
This is so cool. All the food looks so good.
The donut!!!!! Haha I love that you kept referencing it, you deserved that donut!!! 👏👏
I'm so envious of all your we food. We sowed some tomato seedlings today in preparation for summer. I'm so over winter food!
Such a calm and happy video with lovely food! Lovely to watch after a long day :)
New fav channel, subscribed!
ooooh that meal at the end looked so good. also - gonna need a full breakdown of your Bridgerton thoughts lol
Omg..ur kitchen is amazing 😍
that last meal looked incredible!! need to try that soft tofu
We have a mochi muffin and doughnut shop in town. Oooooh my husband and I can't get enough of them.
Love Brighton, and those donuts.
love when you do these videos, I am finally going to try your bread recipe this week. Been on my list. What kind of protein powder is that?
Omgggg can you share the bread and potato salad recipe?! Loved this video!
I absolutely luv watching your content. Watching you just makes me wanna do a bit more. I am so busy with work sometimes its a few weeks but than I binge your videos. 🥰🥰🥰
Also Im team Nectarine which is funny 😁 I grew up in Southeast Ga 🇺🇸 It's kinda Blasphemy to not be team peach 😃
gurl your living my vegan dream
Team nectarine all the way! My husband loves peaches so it works out well in the end!
i need that bread recipe ASAP :)
I'm usually team both but this year I'm feelin' nectarines a little more. Great video, loved it, thanks for sharing!!!
I'm going to visit BC Canada next week and I'm so so excited to eat local fruit! Love your videos.
From one Mary to another… welcome to my neck of the Canadian woods Mary. There is so much amazing fresh fruit and & veg available at this time of the year here in BC. Right now I am loving the fresh cherries🍒🍒 and I’m sure you will too. Have a great trip Mary 💦🌎Ⓜ️ary🇨🇦
I would love to hear how you choose workouts - whether classes or online. I am trying to gather up motivation to go back to the gym but don't know where to start. And I feel you have done a pretty wide variety of workouts - I remember you did some mobility stuff too.
Omg everything you made looked delicious, I wanted to join on the eating lol.
I relate to you so much about that donut and period
hahaha glad to know I'm not the only one
Hi Immy really enjoyed this video. Peaches and ice cream. Yummy ❤
Also - I relate so hard to craving something like the donut and being bummed out if I can’t get it straight away uuuugh it’s the worst 😅 hope you got your donut eventually :) and if you love mochi ice cream you should try getting your hands on the black sesame flavored ones - they’re available in Asian supermarkets and they’re the best 👌
Would you share the bread recipe? looks so good and easy!
Loved the video! That bread looks amazing, can you link the recipe please?
Hi Immy - such a lovely video, beautifully shot and edited. But please, where can we get the recipes for the cucumber salad and that bread ( or at least tell us what herb it was that you added - a bit of a tease???? Lol). Are you thinking of writing a cook book? I'd buy it!!
Don’t forget to add a watch next at the end of the video! & Always love hearing your honest opinion about the meals you cook lol
Thank you!!! Completely forgot. Thanks for having my back 😘😘
The bread and your food look amazing i prefer nectarines over peaches tooxx
Immy, could you please do a laundry routine video? I’m also in Europe and I’m still struggling to find something affordable and eco friendly that works for me. Thank you!
chickpea "tofu" is dead easy to make and very cheap. Do follow the direction to "hydrate" the chickpea flour (mix with water, let sit for 10 minutes to several hours (I did overnight in fridge)). And do simmer, stirring constantly for 8 to 10 minutes to fully thicken.
Oh, I'd love to know how you grew those cucumbers in the conservatory (like the whole set up). Again, your food videos are one of the most interesting to watch. Btw, how come I didn't know you are learning French, and I've been watching you for a few years now?!
gorgeous gorgeous food!
thank you for the inspiration!
oh, and team nectarine, duh! :D
I’m team Freestone. Nothing worse than trying to eat either one when you practically massacre the fruit trying to work the stone out. Yours was beautiful and easy.
Have you ever had Henderson’s relish? Its kinda like Worcestershire sauce but the Sheffield equivalent. Goes with everything (best on pie and peas) but is vegan and the perfect fish or Worcestershire or soy sauce alternative!
Erm more info on that bread recipe please! Can't beleive how good that looked from so little effort!
I'm digging around looking for that bread recipe. Was that rosemary you added? Lovely, calming video. 🌱
I think it was caraway seeds
I'm new to your channel and I'm not vegan but I absolutely love it❤️ I'm like 6 videos in at this point🤣
Awesome video 👍. What do you grow in fall / winter?
Nice video, it really helps to see what a vegan eats. How often do you drink protein shakes? Do you take any supplements?
I'm impressed you cooked your peas. Our get eaten straight out of the pod.😋
I always was on Team nectarine but Last year i was on Holiday in croatia and ate some regional grown peaches there and since then ive fallen for them!
Super super and superb 💖💖💖 have a blessed day 💖💖💖
Fresh nectarines and tinned/canned peaches!
❤️❤️
I love your coffee machine would like to know where it is from?
You could try adding raw grated courgette to your salad - delicious and yet another way to use the never ending courgette 😁
I've gotta start grating my courgette and trying this out on my salads, great tip!
🥔 potato salad inspo 🥔
I think the same… potato salad is always a summer highlight 🥔. It’s satisfying and easy to make… so much to love about that. Hope you get to enjoy some soon. 💦🌎Ⓜary🥔
When i saw those cute bokchoys.. i instantly wanted an asian inspired bok-choy translucent noodle soup (if that's a thing.. ) that just makes me wonder like how gifted those East Asians are in terms of variety of good food (including sea vegetables..
They're so good and nutritious...except that polluted ocean part..) they get to eat.. their food always looks kinda bland but deliciously appealing to me.. but they're not bland cuz I've had miso soup before and that's not at all bland.. o gosh.. I'm constantly running out of words to describe how incredibly thankful i am for like the variety of disheswe have in the world..
What is the easy bread recipe?
And how wet should the dough be?
Love this video, so nice and soothing! What's your pour over contraption? Looks amazing!
Found it! The Pure Over!
@@JenTheEllis1 Thank you for this, I've been trying to find it myself!
as someone who is allergic to soy, mochi is a woman's best friend
I have to remind myself to eat beans instead of just tofu all the time, too!
okay so how many tomatoes do you get off a tomato plant? like once you plucked those off was that it done for the month? the year?
When you get to the US see if you can find Mr. Dewie's cashew ice cream. It's definitely the best vegan ice cream I've had. Very creamy.
Ohhh thank you so much for the recommendation! Will put it on my list x
Nectarine every time!
Please do you have recepe for the bread you made? I am also team both.
Team either I like both peach and nectarine
Should try to incorporate more Indian and Southeast Asian cooking recipes for your vegan meal ideas.
I want to come and eat at your house. Your meals look delicious !
Random question - Is your workout CrossFit? Also, I second the bread recipe, please!
Can you share details on your coffee maker please!
Yes! I was going to ask the same thing :D
what's the potato salad dressing recipe?
hey where can i find the bread recipe
Team nectarine, however, farm fresh peaches have an unbeatable taste!
Team nectarine! Can't stand the peach fuzz 😅
Hi Immy. I couldn't watch his video without commenting: what on earth have Booja Booja done to their ice-cream?! That caramel pecan praline used to be my favourite. It was absolutely delicious, with gorgeous ribbons of flavour throughout, the pecans....... 😋 Now it's like a watery vanilla ice-cream with a few ground nuts. It has no flavour. I didn't mind paying over and above for it when it was heaven in a carton, but now it's disgusting! What do you think? Sorry, very 'first world problem', but just needed to get that off my chest!! Have a great day.
Team nectraine all the way!
Team Nectarine all the waaay
Team peach 🍑
So inspiring to see you eating this seasonal & intentional. That's 100% something I want to work on. I post plant-based meals on my channel as well. Feel free to check it out!
3:22 - OK… it’s time that I admit it!! I have a full-blown case of tahini envy!! Where… how… with what shopping strategy do you find that beautiful golden pourable tahini? Immy, your tahini is in a whole ‘nother league than the tahini that I get here in northern 🇨🇦, which is gloopy and grainy, and has the consistency of stale putty. When stirring it I practically get tendonitis in my wrist and I can certainly never pour it. We need tahini equality… and yes, I fully recognize that this truly is a first world problem. Thanks for listening to me whine about my tragic tahini situation. I’m only 3+ minutes into the video and I am lovin’ it!! I’m excited to continue watching and see your Brighton doughnut adventure unfold. 💦🌎Ⓜary PS - is it a doughnut or a donut?? 🍩
Whisk some with lemon juice/ a little water, some garlic powder, mustard powder ( an emulsifier). I whisk it in a jar that the whisk or blender fits in; it keeps for at least a week in the fridge.
@@jan9562 Thanks Jan, this is super helpful info. I’ll use your method to rescue my sludgy tahini. I appreciate you taking the time to share this with me. Have a great day, Ⓜ️ary🇨🇦
@@marycharlebois6627 if you have an international or arab supermarket nearby you should be able to find some good arabic tahini fairly cheaply
I'm curious about what that dress looked like.
Haha! I couldn’t help but laugh about the overpriced vitamins that you’ll never buy again because SAME!!! Such a disappointment.
Realistic... But u have a garden LOL
