And it’s so refreshing to see a black Nigerian woman without a straight hair wig or weave on adorned on her head !
Daalu !
Isn't it!? Black women need to reclaim their lost beauty.
@@yardleyj9391 I am telling you!! Our women’s features are very different from other races, but when they wear those ghastly long weaves , they bury their features and become like caricatures !
This Chinyere woman is fineeee
I preserve my yam by cutting, washing and putting it straight up in the freezer and is still good. Will try this tip as well.

Thanks for the new tips Flo. I love freezing excess plantains, but I noticed it gets cooked faster, I have to prep everything before I start cooking, else it will get mushy.

Edwige at what point did it change colour? While you were prepping it or when it has been in the freezer for some time?
@@FloChinyere
Whem i took it out the freezer it looked brown/ black. It was my 1st time freezing it so i thought let me still cook it and see what will happen. But then whlist cooking it, i noticed it was turning more black/ brown
@@edwigeeloundou5201 as you cut, place in cold water

For one second before watching I thought you were going to cover the whole yam with clay like we used to do in the village farm before storing in the barn!😂. Thanks, this is a much easier, convenient and modern way of doing it.
🤣😂🤣 Shirley oya come and clean me up because I sh@t myself laughing!
I had pictured you in front of a barn in Spain tying up clay covered yams with barn twigs all ready for the winter months, I just burst out laughing at my ridiculous thoughts when I saw you peeling the tubers ready for the freezer. Na wa oo, can’t take the Igbo village out of the gal!😍
Hi, someone mentioned how plantain is hard to make. Here is how: wash n peel, you can cut it up if you are using the blender, or grate whole using your grater, whip until refine(grated). Add to boiling water containing cinnamon leaves and stir until its smooth. Allow to cook, while cooking its colour changes to a beautiful light yellowish/orange. Add your mixed powdered milk n let boil in for about ten minutes, or use your tin milk to sweetened, you can now add your nutmeg, vanilla ect. If milk is not enough, you can add a little sugar to fully sweetened, Don't forget a pinch of salt. Now enjoy. JAMAICA...👍👍💌💌
Nice. I'll add label date and also squeeze out excess air in zip-lock bags. Thank you so much for this video.
