- Welcome back friends, today on the Farmstead we've got a huge couple of days packed into the one video.
First we show you our massive tree lopping mulch windfall and take ypu along as we barter with our other homesteading friends, we do a brewery mash collection which is one of the ways we bulk out our poultry and pigs feed to save money and reuse a waste resource.
We also visit Joseph (The Irish Guinea Farmer) at his farm where we are collecting 2 of the 6 cows we have purchased from him as he prepares to sell the farm and move onto his next chapter.
We give you an update on the trial crop we planted months ago and discuss the progress so far.

I’d recommend feeding the cows in the float as often as possible to encourage confidence and good behaviour. Enjoying your videos 😊
@daninic9355 that is a brilliant suggestion. These weren't raised by me but all of my cows get halter broken & lead trained
@@honey-bee-farmstead I think the more exposure and experience we give our animals to situations they may encounter in the future builds confidence to ensure not only our lives are easier but potential owners. Being halter broke is definitely heigh on the list 😃 nice!
