    The base circle of a 6m 3v 5/9 dome will not be 6m :)

      @JumeiTent  Před 2 lety

      Thank you for reminding! If it is a 6m 3v 5/9 dome, the radius of the base circle should be less than 3m. Please refer to the installation manual provided by your manufacturer for the right radius of the base circle for your dome when you install it.

    Is there a see-through cover on the top of the dome, above the sunroof? It concerns me because of the heavy rain/snow, it shouldn't go on the flat surface of the sun roof, right? P.S. I have ordered 3 domes from you, they are on the way. Thanks

      Thank you for purchasing our products. Yes, there is a see-through clear PVC cover sewn together with the outer cover on the top.

      Hello, my apologies for what I am about to say but poor you that you have ordered 3 domes from them. Me and my partner ordered 1 and everything has been an absolute disaster. First of all.. when we started the installation procedure we realized that there were parts missing (both triangle window frames, one tension rod, one anchor/footing, bolts, screws and hose clippers for the skylight.
      We ordered an 8 meter dome and wasn’t 8 meter, it was 7.78 so we had issues with the cement block base we had set up for it.
      Also.. the set up videos they have online (particularly this one) supposedly they are step by step videos.. they are not at all.. they are barely helpful actually.
      When you will have to set up your domes you will come to realize that the insulation has no wholes in order the tie wraps to go through and attach to the dome structure. You will have to guess where to make wholes and tie wrap them (as we did) because the company won’t assist you AT ALL! The issue with that is that if you guess wrong and you place too many tie wraps and the insulation is too stretched then you won’t be able to place the bolt caps (for which you will have to make wholes yourself again) in the inside of the dome. That is a pain in the ass if you have placed the pvc already (as shown on the video) because you have no access between the pvc the insulation in order to remove some of the attached tie wraps. Also in order to place the tension rods you will have to make the cuts yourself except the first two next to the door frame. That is quite risky because you may cut the outward side of the pvc.
      The videos they have online show NO details for a lot of things in order to know you are doing the right thing. This video shows the installation of a door frame with a curve on top and we DIDNT receive that kind of door, we received a different style one with no video how to install it. The insulation we received has already the cut where the skylight is so the installation of it was different. In a nutshell, there is a possibility to receive similar (not the same) items to the ones you see on the video and if you have questions why there different or how to set them up NOONE will help you. That’s the ugly true 😞

    Can one of these withstand 120 degrees Fahrenheit weather? Still be comfortable to live in? In Arizona in the US?

    • @JumeiTent

      Our glamping dome tent has two-layer of cover fabric and insulation liner. It is suitable for living in various weather conditions from about 40℃ to minus 10℃. For more comfortable living conditions, we suggest that you can add air conditioning equipment.

    Are they hard to put together

    • @JumeiTent
      @JumeiTent  Před rokem

      It is not very difficult to install, 2-3 skilled workers can put up the framework and cover fabric in a few hours, and it will take extra time to install doors, windows, and other accessories, but it's really not that hard.

    • @riats8715
      @riats8715 Před 6 měsíci

      When they are saying that 2-3 skilled workers will do it in a few hours.. it’s a big fat lie! It takes days and days, mostly because the videos they provide are not really helpful and also because you haven’t done this before another 50 times in order to know what you are doing.
