- Sometimes we need a good affirmation check-in Tarot spread. Here is my simple but effective version of it, using the Thoth. Enjoy!

Hearing how you structured the layout was so interesting, I love to know the thought process of that, and yours makes perfect sense! Personally I tend to put fire top right (the father and Chokmah), water top left (the mother and Binah), air bottom right (the son and Tiphareth), and earth bottom left (the daughter and Malkuth). Also speaking about one card for each element still being a little abstract...YES! Your sentiments on The Hermit and speaking about pushing your ideas and videos and needing to do the inner work, I can definitely relate, it was nice to hear you express that ☺️ It was also interesting when you spoke about thinking in Dutch and how you would normally do that for yourself, as someone who really only speaks English I would love to know more about how that is! Oh thank you James for this wonderful comment! I like that you pair every element to the Sephiroth in your elemental work. Haha, I really don't know how the mind (of a child for instance) knows what language it's speaking! But I do know that whatever language I'm thinking (sometimes it's french), sometimes a word or a sentence jumps to mind and I'm sure it would be different in each language. Does this make sense? Different tongues, different thoughts. Sometimes. The ones that "just jump out". Anyway :) We should both take time to ground ourselves to have energy to do what we love to do. Idk that much yet, but i think opposite elements and possible inner-conflict (water) can be an opportunity for significant growth which also really goes with hermit and interference. You pretty much said all that but i just agree i guess

Lovely reading! I like that you say "understanding love, understanding interference". I love the Thoth deck but usually try my best to ignore the titles. Instead of ignoring them,seeing them from a different angle is a nice approach.
Thank you! At first, I tried to ignore them as well. I even have a copy with the titles cut off. But now it feels really good to have them in my reading. I have taken this approach to interpret the "Lord of....(title of card)" as "understanding .....(title)", that works great for me so far.

A nice check-in elemental reading - I loved your interpretations. Readers get caught on keywords like "love" but it can mean so many different things to the reader.
Thank you. Ever since I stopped looking at them as keywords and started using them as titles, my understanding and use of those words changed
This was so interesting to see, especially the placements of the elements and where you start. You strike me as a very... airy person? Engaging with the world primarily through the intellect? So it made total sense that you start with air. (Also, isn't the hermit in the Thoth system an earth card? You did have all the elements! Do you ever read the Thoth with elemental dignities in mind? That could be an interesting video). I put the receptive elements on the left, and the active on the right. Earth at the bottom, because water goes on top of earth, and air above fire, both of those mostly because of their alchemical symbols (air being... "double-up", earth being "double-down"). Then if I want to expand the reading to include my soul/spiritual well-being, I can put a card below the earth and fire for chthonic energies, and one above air and water for ouranic energies, that makes sense to me.
